If only Nani properly attacked that terrific cross from Joao Mario.

Who or what do I need to sacrifice for a goal?

Payet off?

He seemed to be growing into the match in this second half.

Love it when the commentators call the person an idiot.

Payet off. Don't think that was the right decision at all.

This game is panning out the way Portugal would want

Surprised Payet's off.

The fans weren't too happy either.

Haven't really seen them at any other night game though.

Think they mentioned before the game there was an infestation of Moths. Not sure why though.
Apparently they left the floodlights on overnight and the stadium filled with moths

Well not entirely, I think ideally they'd rather Ronaldo was still on the pitch!

Don't think anybody bothers to enforce that anymore.

It's seen all the time.

What was the last major international tournament decided on penalties? 2006 World Cup?

Rui Patrício looks as though he could win this in goal for Portugal when it comes to the penalty shoot out, because that seems to be where this match is crawling.

Unfortunately the final is typical of many of the matches this tournament.

Tonight reminds me that the real final was France vs Germany. For quality that was on another planet.

This game at the moment is.....interesting, at best. France just can't get past that red wall which is Portugal's defence, which to be fair, has done their job very well so far. If Portugal can produce one moment of quality up front they could win this.

Portugal simply passing the ball about across the back - France don't seem too interested in upping the pace. This has got pens written all over it ...

It's a shame that Pogba has been detailed to play the holding role . It's a waste of his talent .
