Lol. Shearer giving his honest opinion of the tournament and the game.

Not that he's wrong though.

Basile Boli. A bruiser.
Boli was way before then; I seem to recall him covertly headbutting Stuart Pearce when France played England in Euro 92.

I'm sure I've read that the rule is now that the ball just has to be directly over part of the quadrant so doesn't necessarily have to be touching it.
No rule change, it's still the same the whole of the ball the whole of the line.

Basile Boli. A bruiser.
That was the guy who dropped Stuart Pearce with a head-but and hard man Pearce didn't say or do a thing in response as I recall ..

What an awful game, you just know nothing will happen in extra time.

Tournament has been a major disappointment. Match sums it up perfectly.

He threatened to sue Burger King when they put out an ad "one Whopper for Gignac". Doesn't have the same ring to it.

Coffee...

Portugal for the win, I suspect. I'll just squint and pretend it's Wales.

I don't think this game will go to penalties.

Just that the match has been a representation of the tournament, dull and boring.

France are the fairly average host nation who stumbled their way to the final....this is not even a vintage Portugal team
