The expanded Champions League format has ruined the competition too.

All about money.

And if Ronaldo hadn't got injured, he would have been on the pitch longer in the final.

God look at Ronaldo with the trophy. I think he really does think it's all about him at times.

Well done Portugal, on the night France were poor & nothing 'clicked'. Take nothing away from Portugal though.

Nope, he hasn't won La Liga or Copa Del Rey for that matter.

This is the format that the teams signed up to. Can't blame Portugal if they qualified in 3rd place. Nobody was able to beat them in the knockout stages.

majority of these goals against poor sides and countries when was the last time you saw either of these two do it against top club sides or countries

Captain lifting his country's first ever major trophy, I think he can be allowed to enjoy it without too much scrutiny.

I would say Ronaldo's overall influence in games is declining but he will still score more than anyone else.

Messi's influence on Barcelona is still as high as ever.

What poor sides? The sides they play week in week out are no weaker than what you see in other leagues.

There are only three teams that can win it

Real Madrid
Barcelona

And

Bayern Munich

I know. I was referring to him leaning forward and holding it over the barrier with both hands. Just looked a bit individual to me. Usually the captain holds it up as a group. No matter.

Would kind of agree with that but mainly against poorer opposition.

Next World Cup will be last one for both

Are you for real ? Ronaldo and Messi both score against top sides every season. If you think they are passed it then every other player may as well just give up now.
