Nope, he hasn't won La Liga or Copa Del Rey for that matter.
Are you saying Griezmann never won La Liga with Atletico Madrid

I know. I was referring to him leaning forward and holding it over the barrier with both hands. Just looked a bit individual to me. Usually the captain holds it up as a group. No matter.
I think you're overanalysing it.

Congratulations to Portugal, what a wonderful moment for them to win their first international senior tournament.

No way is that a better goal than Shaqiri's.

Robson-Kanu's was chosen for the audience there.

Bias voting for goal of the tournament. Why don't people just vote honestly ?

Are you for real ? Ronaldo and Messi both score against top sides every season. If you think they are passed it then every other player may as well just give up now.
Internationally the havent in recent times.

Champions league Ronaldo wasn't hugely significant in the bigger games

That will continue

He played for Sociedad the season Atletico won the league, he moved there the summer after.

Once again congratulations to Portugal. Deserved the win on the night.

Now about a month to go until the season starts again.

Henry is on the verge of a full-on strop here.

No because I'm not taking about one side. I'm not saying Portugal were the problem I'm saying the tournament as a whole was poor with very few goals and it was the format that played a huge part in that.
I don't think the whole tournament has been bad - I thoroughly enjoyed the group games but the knockout stages have been pretty poor.

You could put that down to 2 or 3 things though:
International teams are so well drilled nowadays that the good teams are virtually impossible to break down.
No outstanding team in Europe - sure Germany can still play any team off the park but in the attacking third they are pretty light (which is why I didn't fancy them to win it).
You also had a lope-sided draw where all the decent teams were in the same half ... again not a fault of the format.

In general the finishing and shooting in open play has been horrific.

What he is saying is correct but because of France losing it loses effect

God look at Ronaldo with the trophy. I think he really does think it's all about him at times.
Captain lifts trophy shock.

I'm fully in favour of the expanded format. It's not the small teams' fault that the likes of Spain, Germany, England and possibly even France have been misfiring.

And if France had won he wouldn't be saying it.

Though judging by the state of this thread, he's not alone.

A lot of people are overlooking the fact France had to play Germany on Thursday night. And while it only lasted 90 minutes, it was a very tough game.

I said last week that the extra day rest Portugal would get could play a significant role in determining the winner of the final. I think it did tonight. France just couldn't maintain a high tempo and looked like they were running on reserves after 20 minutes tonight.
