What is it with Ronaldos and finals against France?

"I'm sure many of you at home will be cheering at this"

Will they?
I don't know why any right minded fan would want the best player to go off injured.

There's no pleasure to be taken from a player forced off from injury, no matter who it is.

That moth on Ronaldo's face is hugely symbolic.
Silence of the Fans?

Large moth fancied a bit of Ronaldo as well
I was surprised he didn't start clutching his eye and crying when it landed on him.

That's awful bad luck for Ronaldo. He can be a nob at times but wouldn't wish this on anyone, especially in a final. It was a clumsy challenge it must be said.

Strange comment wasn't it? He's like a baddy wrestler. We love to hate him but admire his ability. Can't see him finishing the game though.

I think he'll be a fine. He's just a bit precious that's all.

Are players allowed to take painkillers during the game?

I think the only one screaming for Ron to get off will be his club manager.

May be good for the match and Portugal, but his manager wants him fit at seasons start.

That'll make a few people on here happy.
It's sad that people will take pleasure in players getting injured.

Danny Murphy said anyone, even Sunday League footballers, know you can't play with an injury. It's impossible.

While I agree, mostly, I can hear Luis Suárez laughing at that comment.

Surely Ronaldo can't play on for too much longer, he can't run probably, he's limping.

No, he's given up, he's thrown the armband to the turf.
