Just starting to watch tonight - the vomit warning - ?

I've never seen a vomit warning on BB (or TV I think!) ever. Is it really so bad, or just the usual 'Ryan drank a whole can then sparyed it round the house'?

My tea's due out in ten minutes or so and I was planning to watch with dinner?

It's part of the task. They had to eat some disgusting stuff and it made Ryan sick.

I concentrated on my dinner throughout that task

I've just seen the 'horse manure' bit which was a dig at we, the viewers, I presume?!!

Chelsea's 'sex face' and 'crywank' screaming though was a bit much...

I hate all these tasks that seem to be designed to make the housemates puke. I have a phobia of vomit so can't actually watch any of those scenes...if I accidentally see someone gagging and such (ala Ryan, so many times this year) I feel really really faint and have actually passed out before...its rather extreme.

The vomit warning scared the shit out of me...I was thinking I couldn't watch any of the episode as if they have to put a warning up it must be really bad. I only didn't watch maybe 5-10 mins..then my partner told me everything was safe

I'm with you Vicky. I think its called emetophobia. I hide behind a cushion when scenes like that are on, and I rely on my hubby to tell me when its over. I have to have the sound turned off as well. Why do the producers think this is good entertainment?

Very sorry to hear that I have a tender tum too (though nothing like yours) so the vomit warning was appreciated here too (particularly as my dinner was just ready!).

I don't think BB has ever shown a vomit warning before though?

It's absolutely bizarre, and why do the HMs even bother doing the task anymore if it's something so unpleasant? They never get 'punished' for failing anyway!

How original, they haven't done that task before. What a novel idea!

It's a wonder they don't get fermented eggs and fish eyes instead of rice and beans.

At one point it did look like it was going to reach Monty Python proportions. Evelyn's face was a picture, laughing her head off at the spectacle.

Yes, during Others v Housemates I believe.

But I quit at 2.5 weeks so goodness knows how many times since then.

We're warned about aggressive behaviour, offensive language etc - and now vomit!? Says it all really.

Do production have a brain or a scrap of intelligence between them?

CBB will be exactly the same, especially if they've spent all the budget on booking the superstar that is 'Lil Kim
Vicky.

The ridiculous OTT warnings are probably because of the persistent ofcom complainers...you know, the ones who watch specifically to find something to be offended by

I did appreciate the vomit warning, but its quite unnecessary. As are 'offensive language' warnings after the watershed tbh

I totally agree.

How they can peddle enforced vomiting as entertainment is also beyond me. Not only does the very act itself make me feel sick to my stomach, but also the stupidity and wrecklessness of the juvenile production team, who astonishingly believe it to be 'entertainment'. I empathise with you entirely, and it makes my blood boil to think that they can't think of any other content to include in the show - sheer laziness

IACGMOOH started this craze with their bushtucker trials. That gets good ratings so BB thought, let's have more puke.

I agree. I also think it's a way to keep viewers. It's got to the stage I think where if people don't see a warning about loads of different things at the start, some will think 'oh it's a dull one' and turn over

It's not what hooked many of us into the show in the first place, is it?

When I saw the two teams last night I was like 'ooohh, a proper task'. But no, it was yet another eating task. Yawn. I miss the tasks of old.

Me too - but I'd recorded it and FF through the titles and warnings, hence didn't see that....I ended up FF through the task also - what's the point of BB if people have to do that?? Who actually likes to watch people vomiting???

"Warning: This edition of Big Brother contains scenes that look like they should be hosted by Pat Sharpe and two twins dressed as cheerleaders. Viewers of average to above average intelligence may find it distressing."

To be fair to Pat I don't think he ever gunged anyone with offal?

I must say that task was hilarious, mainly the first part. Normally seeing folk being sick is horrid, but the sight, just in the background, of hughie chucking up his guts was hilarious.

Add to that Chelseas punch bag attempt and I thought it was a great show overall.
