Had a nice little win yesterday, Cardiff, celtic to win and roma/porto btts.

Astra Giurgiu have had a poor start to the season, I can't see them beating West Ham. Though 4/1 for the home team to win in any competition is good. I can't see West Ham failing to score so if you do fancy Astra, to win and btts is a good shout at 17/2.

My bet for the day, West ham, Panathanaicos and btts in the slavia Prague game. 5/1

Just got a free £5 bonus bet from 365 so have also followed Dundee's advice.

We'll either owe him a pint or a punch depending on what happens
Let's hope it's a pint

Indeed. Especially since i got them at 4/1

365 had them at 4/1 to win and 4/1 to qualify so i went for that as it'll cover extra time and penalties.

think it's a bust .. astra aren't really offering anything.

bugger .. didn't realise it was two legs - thought it was a one-off final qualifier. ah well, at least it keeps the bet alive until next week.

and astra equalise as i type

Looks like Betfair are trying to copy the bet365 in-play deal. They have a similar one on for tonight's Man Utd game:

• Place an in play single bet with cash up to £/€50 on the Man Utd v Southampton game on the Sportsbook on Friday 19th August.

• You will receive a free bet of the same value as your stake up to £/€50 after the game. Bets placed on the Draw No Bet and Half Time Draw No Bet markets will not qualify for this promotion. Free bets will be credited within 12 hours after the final whistle.

Everybody's copying each other's promotions

Got this from Stan James today

Premier League football has arrived to Friday evenings with the clash between the Red Devils and the Saints live on Sky Sports 1 at 20:00. And we've got a devilishly, angelic offer for you...
Bet £20 on either Man Utd or Southampton to win in the Match Betting market and get a £5 free bet for every goal your team scores, whether they win or lose! Which shoulder will you listen to... the saint or the devil?

Got in too late from work to take advantage of any of these , this is similar to the paddy power one from the euros which I did quite well on.

Got £10 in freebets that I could use on the outright markets so have backed Bolton at 6/1 for League 1

Over 2.5 5 fold:

Burnley vs Liverpool
Blackburn vs Burton Albion
Nottm Forest vs Wigan
Scunthorpe v Gillingham
Stevenage v Luton

For a £30 stake I would've won a grand. Four of them came through for me, except Liverpool. I was just goal out.

Paddy have a new offer on for this season.

For the first televised Premier League Match every Saturday and Sunday, back a team to win and get a free bet if they are losing at half time. Applies to Win singles only. Offer does not apply to Draw selections. Max free bet EUR/GBP25 per customer. Free bet stake not included in winnings. Refund will be credited at half time as a free bet on football and will be valid for 7 days.

It's on for the Sunderland Middlesbrough game today. Might give it a go with Middlesbrough at 15/8 to win.

Sticking to 'win only' betting I'm 2 for 2 this season after backing Man Utd in both their games

I don't fancy the Middlesbrough v Sunderland game as it could go either way, I have no strong opinion on it

I was surprised that West Ham were odds against (5/4 at Stan James) to beat Bournemouth so I've had a bet on them. First league game at the Olympic Stadium and Bournemouth looked shaky last week against Man Utd conceding 3 goals at home

no, I'm not a big stakes man.......steady accumulation more my style !

Feel a bit lucky with that late winner after both teams looked like they could play for a year and not score........it was a shockingly poor standard

Three international scorelines that made it a memorable Sunday for the bookmakers...

SERIE A: Pescara 2-2 Napoli
PRIMEIRA: Benfica 1-1 Vitoria Setubal
LA LIGA: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Alaves

Three "bankers" beat in quick succession. Napoli win was as short as 2/5, Atletico were 1/5 and Benfica just 1/6.

Looking at some of the transfer specials and Balotelli is 7/1 to still be at Liverpool at the end of the window. I've stuck a fiver on it, no doubt he'll demand big wages and I can't see many teams willing to take a chance on him, his loan spell at Milan last season was pretty dire. A smaller club might want him but I can't see his ego wanting to go there. I can see him happy to just sit and run his contract out. He's being linked with Nice and Sion at the moment but he's been linked all over the place during the transfer window. Now I've said this he'll probably sign for someone tomorrow!

I had a 11/1 acca on Tuesday with Liverpool, Chelsea, Hull, Swansea, Palace and Blackburn, bloody Blackburn shafted me conceding a 93rd minute equaliser!

That fiver on Astra Giurgiu to qualify over West Ham is looking like a decent shout, even though it was accidental

11/10 for over 12 corners at the minute and they're currently on 10 with 13 minutes to go. Might be worth a punt if West Ham are chasing the tie, as they are.

Would be surprised if they scored two in ten mins , Astra showed enough last week to show they were still in this tie.

This new place doesn't seem to have much of atmosphere either .

All in could be a good night for us both

Not sure why I get so many more midweek coupons up than weekend

What price were Astar to win this game in 90 mins? 5 or 6/1 I'd guess?

I honestly couldn't tell you as i didn't look at the start of the match - i was more focused on whether or not they'd qualify.

Wow, that's a good return. Nice one

I can withdraw my full winnings of £25 quid as well as it comes in at more than three times the stake of the bonus fiver so fulfills the wagering requirements in the T's & C's.
