He always did. I don't know why he took him winning with his country for some people to realize that 😒😒

When Messi go to another league and is as successful like Cristiano is in Madrid then I can consider him the greatest. Until then, I never will ✋✋.

The main reason why some people hail Messi as the best is because they dislike Cristiano as a person. That's all.

Technique , sheer willpower, athleticism, hard work , extreme hard work ....when all these things are considered Cristiano is above Messi. I would concede that Messi might be slightly more naturally talented than Cristiano. Cristiano had to hone his talent.
In fairness, Suarez is better than both of them

(love Ronaldo as a person though)

Poor Eder, His moment of brilliance just won Portugal a trophy, and yet Ronaldo is getting all the glory. Poor, poor Eder.

Why poor Eder Cristiano is the captain of the team; He Has shown tremendous leadership in this tournament especially in the final even when he was injured. I watched their reception in Portugal and Eder received so much love from the fans , the media there and the president of Portugal.
It is not Ronaldo's fault that they are so many articles generated about him

At least Eder received some attention. I would say Poor Rui Patricio because he did exceptionally well in that final but his performance was kind of eclipsed with all the talk about Cristiano and Eder.

He was listed as goalkeeper of the tournament, I don't think he slipped too far under the radar really.

lol

Ronaldo technically better than Messi. Not a chance.

Hard work? Exactly how do you conclude Ronaldo has had to work harder? You think messi just put on a pair of boots and that was it?

One may conclude Ronaldo is a better player but the reasons for why you did are laughable.

Paranoid much

BIB - because literally every coach who has ever worked with Ronaldo (bar maybe Jose) has said Ronaldo was the most hardworking professional footballer they had ever encountered? But what to Ferguson, Ancelotti & Co know about football...

Your argument is that no one can possibly just have an honest opinion on the matter that is different to yours. There isn't much more to say on the matter other than delusional. I haven't even come down one way or the other on the topic here. But rest assured that if they swapped passports, you'd be singing a different tune.

You said that people only think Messi is better because they are bitter about Ronaldo or something. So you don't think anyone can honestly just believe that Messi is the better player.

You were clearly supporting Portugal through the Euros so I assumed you were Portuguese. So if Messi was from Portugal and Ronaldo was from somewhere else, you'd be saying that Messi is better.
