For me it was BB8. I'm someone who likes a structured series and no contact with the outside world. As the years have gone on, obviously each series became much less structured and the no outside contact rule went out the window. Up to BB7 I could deal with, even though I hated the late entrants and a few other things. I was forgiving of quite a few things in that series. With BB8 though, for me that was when BB was over. Only putting females in on day one, drip feeding in the males, allowing two housemates on an open top bus around London, too many late entrants. For me, that was when BB was over and the show died. Interestingly, I think it may have been like that for many people as BB8 got the highest launch night ratings ever (obviously on the back of the successful BB7), but after that it completely tailed off.

I think my first big annoyance was when Connor was given an amount of the prize money and before that he was part of a fake eviction? Connor was disgusting and should have been kicked out of the house but the producers decided to give him money instead.

BB7 was when I really woke up to the contempt the producers have for the audience.
Nevertheless I wouldn't continue to watch the show if I didn't find value in it. I just don't vote.

The last few years I stop watching reality tv shows if I am mostly annoyed watching. Then it is not fun anymore.
With this one at the beginning I thought there is no one to like but that was no true. There are quite a few decent people in there. You need someone to root for.

I gave up on last year's series after a couple of weeks, but this one got me back. For me, each year is different and has its own flavour, based on the housemates, the house design and the tasks.
I think it's unreasonable to expect a TV show from 2016 to still use a format from 10 or 15 years prior when so much has changed in the media and interactive environment in recent years.

For me it was BB8 as well. The battering the show had taken during CBB5 meant that the MSM wouldn't even look twice at the show let alone report extensively on it ( people forget that during BB3 and 5-7 BB would have a daily report sometimes five or six pages long of what happened and what's going on (the live feed helped of course so they could watch and report round the clock) BB8 launch was lacklustre, started negatively with the apology for last series before we saw davina or the credits had even rolled for this series and with the smaller crowd it felt like a non event.

And yet BB in USA and Canada are still popular and haven't changed their format

I'm not saying there haven't been massive changes already but the idea that HMs are leaving without any input from us and without us even seeing it live or knowing that it's happened is just a change too far

That season killed it for me for sure, the Connor situation, although it really died when they removed any live feed.

Bb7 had the highest rated civilian launch not bb8. The downfall started towards the end of bb7 for me. Bringing Nikki back was a low point...
BB7 was the Zenith the last great BB, from BB8 onwards it has been on a downward trend ever since, never getting close to its former glory and it never will again attain the heights of BB7.
After UBB I missed 11, really enjoyed 12 purely because of Aaron, skippen 13, 14 was almost unrecognisable but Dexter made it for me.
15 was when it died with:
16 started well and was like BB and then from 4 in 4 out was a mockery.
17 has been so bad it's good, most of the time, but BB it is not once again and when Chelsea has gone (as much as I dislike the man he's so utterly brilliant to watch!) and as soon as it looks like a final week of 'the duvet' gang I'm out.

That was a low point. I remember being outraged.
My Mum was worse. She was disgusted and vowed never to watch again. She stayed true to her word.
But I'll be honest - she cared too much -we feared for her mental health for a spell.
Even now we can laugh about it but she can't help but spit out 'Poisoned dwarf'.
