I liked the way he consulted everyone and they discussed the answer without wasting time.

That girl needed a makeover, she was very beautiful but it was disguised.

I did like the bit about the thing they discussed on the train. I was saying "Go on, say Toxteth O'Grady"

Her long braided locks were fabulous.

I wonder if there will be some Christmas specials? I enjoy those...although some contestants you might expect to be clever, turn out to be dim.

There are slots reserved 7.30, 19th - 23rd & 27th - 29th December, and even a couple a bit earlier on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. I don't suppose they'll use them all but that's clearly where the specials are intended to go.

Wow. Monkman on fire togeth with his sidekick Chaudhri (He doesn't look Indian despite having an Indian surname)

Morris Clarke looked a bit dejected tonight and was about to slap Petrides when he messed up that question LMAO

More like Roy Cropper for me.

I would be intimidated by Monkman in person. He always has the look of judging other people (or as if there was someone farting in the room) lol

Rooting for the other Canuck in the team

One more week before Christmas Special?

Yeah, I wondered whether he might be a step-child. Must admit I found looking for any signs of Indian in him very distracting, Lol...

Why would you assume that there would be any? The name could have been inherited centuries ago by any number of routes and any Indian genetic inheritance long passed into history. Do you expect every Anderson you meet to look like a Viking or every Cohen to be sporting ringlets?

It's edited. We don't know that for sure.

I was doing the thing mentioned earlier in this thread. "How could they not know the difference between Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich?" until I said "Jean Harlow" for Mae West.

Though they were very weak on simple general knowledge (i.e. not obscure academic questions). Not knowing the port on Anglesey was unforgiveable!

They weren't asked for a port. They were asked for a ferry terminal. Not listening to the question properly? Unforgiveable!!!!
