Is this the lowest BB has ever sunk, taking the voters out of it completely, and letting a clique-lead group decide who to evict without even their nightime eviction and interview with Emma?

No. It's bad, but there's been worse.

Poll is up now, please vote and explain however briefly why/what was worse, thanks!

Yes. That eviction was terrible, there was no tension or drama just drivel.

Terrible to watch and terrible for Chelsea who didn't get the crowd and didn't get an Emma interview.

Shame on Endemol and C5.

Agreed but still an appalling way to treat housemates.

I actually think they have a good bunch of housemates so it isn't a bad series. But I can't remember ever feeling so truly depressed watching Big Brother. It is completely not what the show should be about.

Bad but doesn't surpass giving Conor £50K, for me.

BB giving a housemate a free pass to the final was worse as it takes away the survival element of BB. Also Dannielle's eviction was worse as she was evicted by new housemates who didn't even know her well. And then there was the Vote to Evict Quadruple Eviction, eliminating most of the big characters in BB11.

And by far the worst of all - rewarding Conor with 50 grand.

This year has been unbelievable. I don't mind tampering with the format if it keeps things interesting and dramatic but this year they have completely butchered it.

I did think of Helen Wood 'funnily enough' when I posted this, bugger I should have posted an 'apart from Helen Wood' option

I agree it's shocking

This, along with the Helen Woods fiasco, has been the worst. They both evolve taking away the public's choices, Helen exempt from nomination for the whole series and now several going where we don't get a chance to save or evict. If the public's favourites are thrown out this way it will destroy the reminder of the series.

Edited: I'd forgotten that Connor got the 50K - that was a disgrace!

I still can't get my head around the fact they 'rewarded' Conor with £50k

Voted Yes, as it's very low of BB to do this, when the BBUK isn't played the US way! Very low indeed!

C5 have completely stuck two fingers up to the viewers and more so the voters. We had vote to save! To try and manipulate when that didn't work we went onto giving orchestrated tasks to ensure they the winner was given immunity. We then went to pass to the final! To having live twists and saves to keep in certain contestants. How many times over the last few years have they announced a live show with a twist then suddenly changed the twist on the night to ensure they can manipulate it. Now it's just the public don't decide we do!

It's definitely up there with Armaggedon Week, 4in4out and Sam's eviction last year.

You've nailed it. Really good cast (despite them I suspect) and they've made the piggest pigs ear of it since Pigsy (sorry Pigsy)

Luckily I skipped that one, though I often hear it was a good series overall

Yes there was Danielle. Then THE VOTERS paid money to make Ashleigh the Power HM when Helen was in there, didn't they, and then took it straight away from her?

You mean a bit like that slating poll online earlier today that they can spend the rest of the week using as they see fit to get out who they want?

I don't watch much T.V. The only reason I'm interested in BB is because there's interaction with the viewing public. But now they've even taken THAT away. As if taking away live feed wasn't bad enough. The producers could be sat there now deciding to stick to the same routine simply because their chosen golden boy didn't get picked by anyone. Who knows?

In terms of the show itself and it's obvious contempt for the viewer... yes it's the lowest.

It is a long way to tunnel to Australia but they might make it soon.

Most of them lit up when they were given the choice to evict and the clique instantly targeted Chelsea, there fake crocodile tears and their fake "I'm sorry to see you go, this was hard, I'm not going with the majority, we're gonna miss you" is bullsh!t. Pioor old Jayne will be open season tomorrow
