The pics make it look like it was Ben, I hope not what a terrible decision if so.
Should be Paul he is a useless character. http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/east...news-hospital/ |

The way the article is worded, not outright saying "Ben killed" but "characters told Ben killed" makes me pretty certain there will be a mistaken identity twist and Paul will die.

It's so sad how one of them is looking to be killed off. Am I the only one who actually has grown to really like them as a couple? They have great chemistry in my opinion and I feel more could've been done to keep Paul in the show and to develop his character. Also the Cokers are harmless and for Les and Pam to go from losing their son to losing their grandson too isn't going to be a nice thing to watch.
![]() Anyway, I voted Paul. I'm pretty certain. |

But hey the EE writers already decided that 1 will die. or maybe both, who knows. It is a shame |

Paul obviously. If they were going to go with Ben and be that straightforward about it, then why not show the "incident" that led to him dying?
Considering Paul is the one who is leaving, it couldn't be more obviously him. |

Just looking at the pictures, you can tell Steve Mcfadden is going to brilliant with this storyline like he is with everything.

I think it's Paul who dies but I'm a bit disappointed. I have really enjoyed the character and I think his relationship with Ben is very special. I'm pleased the Cokers are getting lots of screentime and I think Lin Blakely will give some powerhouse performances as the grieving grandmother.

Seems like the majority seem convinced it will be Paul
It will be "sad" but honestly- I don't think to much of his acting if I am honest. His death should bring in some great scenes from Pam, Les and Ben though

No your not alone, I to think think they was a good onscreen couple. And I agree there could have been more they had to offer together on the show.

I love them as a couple too. Think it's a shame the scriptwriters have gone down this route, but I'm guessing they don't want Ben to be all settled they want him to be angry Ben again raging against the world!
Also, I'll be annoyed if the producers pair Ben with Johnny straight after. There's been talk ever since Paul arrived that he was Johnny's replacement since Sam Strike had left so it'll be really transparent of the writers if "Bohnny" becomes a thing. |

I agree with you both. Seriously, why is it impossible for a gay couple to remain together on the square? Paul has really softened Ben again and it would have been nice to see how their relationship progresses since they are very different personalities. These scenes are going to be really upsetting.

As for Ben/Johnny pairing in the future, I'd say it's quite likely- all though the show did hint at Steven and Johnny- that could have been to fool us though. |
