IIRC BB told the housemates that by the end of Annihilation Week one person would be closer to winning....so the immunity seems to have been planned whether or not the person who got it was.
One Hm will be a significant step closer to winning BB

Andy, Speaking later in the diary room, *(he's never bl**dy out of it with his sanctiminious monologues) ..said.

“It’s a huge relief! I’ve never been afraid of saying things that other people don’t like. I feel like the dynamic around me in the house is changing… I can be seen as a force to be reckoned with.”

He is absolutely insufferable, truly nauseating. I cannot stand him.

So will someone be evicted today (in the house) and be interviewed on tomorrow's SOTS?

No.

If I'm reading it correctly, this is a run-down of what's on tonight's show - so this happened yesterday and there was no eviction last night.

I think

Everybody going on about Andy - didn't Jayne also win immunity or did I read wrong?
No they had to choose one of them and the majority of them chose Andy it seems. So quite shocked!

The others had to choose one of Andy or Jayne to get immunity....and the one not chosen i.e. Jayne got second prize of not being annihilated.

Lateysha copped out and Hughie spoke about Andy being a gameplayer as if it was fact,, even after the poll where most probably Ryan was chosen for a lot of the negative ones including least genuine. If anyone is playing the game it is Ryan. Hughie is letting me down...
It was fact for them, the public voted Andy as a "gameplayer" in the task.

Can't blame Hughie for that. As if Andy wouldn't do the same back...

In other words, someone was about to be evicted who the producers didn't want out yet so they changed the rules.

If it had been Jayne, Laura, Evelyn, Sam or Jason they would have let the eviction go ahead.
If the producers cared about such things, they wouldn't have had this week in the first place. They're just not very good at the job.

Totally agree, she was really miffed she wasn't with her little group!
Maybe it was a clever move, to escape nomination, placing herself in the enemy camp?

So, do we think BB are ultimately deciding when the evictions are allowed to take place?

They didn't like the fact that Jayne and Andy were the 2 targets so made this new thing up.

I think had Sam and Laura/Evelyn, BB wouldn't have done this immunity thing, instead the eviction would have gone ahead?
Anyone could have predicted Jayne and Andy would be victims of this week. The producers don't care who wins or makes the final. They just want to create a story and attract an audience. I don't think the budget can be that high for staff and task planning/rehearsal.

With the exception of Jayne and Andy (11 in all) the others were asked to split into two teams. It was quickly agreed that the teams should be made up in terms of the places were they were presently seated. Lateysha did not look happy, this was beyond her control and she did not like it ..

Nah, they just went with staying sitting where they were when Big Brother started talking. She was offered the chance to move and said no.

They didn't know what would be happening though.

Going off Lateysha now.

Her reaction to being in that group and saying to Jason what a Big Brother contestant should be like / should have a social media presence has put me off.

Yes, she had the chance to move. They all did - I doubt they would have stayed where they were if they really wanted to move!

That's a non sequitur because BB at its own whim can flip the HMs' decisions whenever it wants. It's not annihilation week...it's annihilation-or-possibly-salvation-or-even-immunity week.

In any event, it's totally implausible to suggest that the producers don't care. I'm not a mind reader but I know that we as mere viewers all seem to care so why wouldn't people actually having to put together a nightly TV entertainment show featuring the HMs care which HMs are there?

This is confusing, does this mean BB are starting to backtrack? We were told there would be an eviction every day , didn't we?

IMO STOP NOW. Put them all up, vote to save and the three with the least votes each time (one to be revealed tomorrow, Thursday and Friday) all go. But that won't happen.
I agree Salv. I don't see why they didn't do that in the first place . This goes against the whole ethos of Big Brother what's happening at the moment
