Does anyone on the forums watch Holby? I know there's a general thread on the show but in comparison to other soaps, receives very little attention.

Is this due to there only being a weekly episode where as other soaps broadcast several days a week?

I watch Holby City, usually on BBC I-player, but don't create a thread as I have nothing to write about.

It's a nice show - I wish the BBC would promote it more though.

I watch, sometimes I post to the thread if it is bumped. but I don't often post other threads cos there isn't a lot of folk talking about it and the existing thread is fairly easy to follow

Caught up today after missing a few episodes. I do like the show and think it's well acted and well produced, like Casualty I watch it if it's on but don't really talk about it to be honest.

The one he took into the room is Dr Dominic Copeland (played by David Ames). I haven't watched Holby much but have caught up and was surprised to see Marc Elliot in it. He looks so different compared to his EE days!

From what I gather Dominic and Marc's character - Dr Isaac Mayfield, they have been sleeping together so will may be partners in future episodes.

Hiya - always great to find another Holby watcher.

I think it is just that it is only on once a week and the General discussion thread does seem to satisfy most people's needs. It foes go down to page 3 or 4 come the end of the week but generally somebody finds it to make a comment during or after each episode so is on Page 1 for Tues eve, Wednesday. I can"'t remember a week when nothing has been said and usually there are 2 or 3 pages of comment for each week.

I guess we'?e all just got used to using just the one thread and it is quite a friendly thread where posters don't mind it veering off topic to discuss old episodes or characters or speculating about the future. Only rule is, anything that is a spoiler, use tags.

That isn't to say separate threads can't be started, especially if you want to discuss something very specific of spoilers but in the past we've found it got more responses when on the main one.

There is a Jac Naylor discussion thread in the appreciation Threads as, at one stage, she did dominate the main thread which was annoying for people that aren"t interested in her.

To answer Mr Patrick, haven"t seen tonight's yet but i imagine it will have been Dom as Isaac (Marc elliot's character in Hc) has been sleeping with him.
