There is some merit in it. If there are only 5 or 6 in the final and you feel someone is a sure finalist you block one place. Give it to someone else (who might not be you) you block two places reducing your own chance.

The JJJ fandom was freaky. A lot of it was projecting on Josie, the fat girl who managed to pull the house 'hunk' (and I use that term lightly). They were bonkers though. Remember them abusing Sunshine on Twitter for daring to go to a Garden Centre with John James?

It was a strange time, I have to say! Got some lovely friendships out of it though so worth it (just about ).

I loathed him then and nothing has changes. He was a bullyboy in that house and I couldn't stand him and his thumb sucking girlfriend.

Totally agree. I haven't the faintest idea what people find attractive about Alex, he's all toothy and when he opens his mouth, he's even less attractive. I think John James is much better than Alex.

Because of those pair in particular, I stopped watching for the next two years.

Neither of them have aged well.
Both absorb in themselves. No wonder they don't have partners.

I couldn't stand the pair of them either & never understood the hysterical adoration that folks had for them. 😁
