Liking how this thread has taken off

Couple of weeks of juggling a Nexus 6P and an iPhone 5S, and yeah I do think a size in the middle will probably be my next, if Google ever make a normal size smartphone that isn't crap. Or maybe it'll just be an iPhone 8.

It's nice having such a small pocketable phone, but I think some part of this for me is a feeling of nostalgia and "aww it's so small and cute". I'm still feeling it, it still makes me smile, it's one of those odd things that Apple does.
But typing is quite the headache, especially when it's something like a password (tapping instead of swiping). Adult male fingers just don't seem made for it. And I've actually had the opposite problem: where on the 6P I was feeling a bit stretched outward one-handed, on the 5S I'm having to almost fold my fingers on top of themselves because it's just too small.

Got to hand it to Apple, 4.7" does seem like a nice sweet spot.

I changed from the Nexus 4 to the IPhone 5s nearly 6 months ago.

I was having a play with an iPhone 6s Plus yesterday and it is just too big for a phone no matter how big your hands are. And I was also playing with a 6s and the size is much better but aesthetically and ergonomically it doesn't hold a candle to the 4s and 5s and 5se iPhones. I've given the 5s to my wife and gone back to a 4s, it maybe a bit slower by today's standards but I honestly believe that the iPhone 4s is the nicest phone Apple have made, it feels solid and I like the weightiness to it that you don't get in new phones. I think Steve Jobs was right with his view on size. After all if we want bigger screens that's what iPads are for.

Well in screen size maybe for Nexus 4 was a 4.7inch. IPhone 5s is only 4inch screen.

I watch Sky Go on my Nexus 6p and wouldn't want to swap for a smaller screen.

I agree, the 4S is a smashing little phone. Loved mine. Great feel to it and disappears in your pocket.

I went from a Sony Z2 to a z5c to a z5.

My z2 was getting old and worn out so I wanted to upgrade to a newer phone.

The 720p screen was fine on the z5c (I was in no desperate need of 1080p), but I had to keep zooming in to view any web content so rather than let it grate on my mind I took the plunge.

Oh and the flashlight was flickering on the z5c so I retained full value of a pre owned phone, traded in to the Z5 which was the same price on their system and I still got a 2 year warranty which was nice Oh and 3gb of ram instead of the 2 on the z5c
