Where did you get the idea that Nicole S is a former competition champion? She won (I think) DWTS as a celeb not as a pro dancer, other than that she is no more of a dancer than Alesha Dixon - probably even less so, as DWTS is even more "stage-type razz-ma-tazz" than Strictly has ever been.

As for your jumped-up elementary dance school teacher - presumably you mean Len, which just shows your ignorance of the dance world.

Nicole is a dancer, albeit not a ballroom/latin one. She has a University degree in it and made her living in a dance troupe for a very long time. I don't think she'd be a suitable replacement for Len because they're from different spheres, and Len is far more succesful, but she'd be absolutely as qualified as Bruno at the very least, were he to leave.

I'm coming around to Brendan Cole, his the first pro winner been there from the start and has judged the New Zealand version with Craig.

I also think that he would be fairly honest with his comments and scores.

Unfortunately, that's far too logical a thought, so it won't happen.

You're confusing this with a ballroom dance competition, when actually it's a "Show!" designed and manipulated to beat anything ITV can put out on a Saturday night.

The way the show has developed it has to be another "pantomime character," (the Cinderella/Snow White role is already filled).

Brendan is far too "beige."

Now there's a description Brendan would probably never have thought would be applied to him!

I'm so pleased that Len is going, and as others have said he is getting far too big for his boots, so America is welcome to him! I did like him in the beginning but he has become far too grumpy. I also hate his outbursts, when he has it in for someone he doesn't stop and it just sounds childish!

I really hope Anton doesn't take over as I don't like him and how can he honestly score a latin dance when he can't even perform it himself! In my opinion Len was wrong for the head judge position anyway as he always got rid of decent people i.e Jake, Pixie and sometimes I think he deliberately got rid of those ones just to say who was boss! I hope Craig takes over as head judge, he knows a good dancer when he sees one.

I'm not sure who should take over the judging role, I like Darren Bennett but doubt he would get the job. I'm sure they will want a big name to fill the role. I wonder when we will find out!

Craig fails to qualify as any level of judge in ballroom or Latin
Please let their be some realism in a dance/ entertainment contest show

I think the vacancy will be for a Baron Hardup, not a Buttons

She would a better replacement for Darcey

"Buttons," is Anton, he never gets a young partner.

Craig is Widow Twanky.

Well good job its a dance/entertainment show for which he is qualified for. The mix of judges from different backgrounds works.

A Dance entertainment show based on strictly ballroom and Latin
The clue is in the title
But yes the entertainment issues need and take a strong influence
For me Craig's lack of ability to judge the basics is a solid reason to remove him or actually dress him up weekly as widow twanky

Well at least Craig knows a good dance when he sees one and chooses the correct person to save. If Len is having one of his 'throw your toys out the pram' moments, he will get rid of the good celeb just to be spiteful. Hardly good judgement, so glad he is going!

Or perhaps his perspective is different since he is looking at ballroom technique and therefore he has a different opinion to you (since your opinion as to the 'correct person to save' isn't necessarily the 'right' one).

I'll give him his due, "he knows what he likes," that's not the same as being able to judge accurately.

Fair enough you have a valid point although in my opinion Len has saved weaker dancers over good ones and it doesn't necessarily mean I like the ones I consider better. Also, he can only really give his opinion on ballroom so shouldn't have been head judge in the first place. If that's the case the new judge should be an expert at both ballroom and Latin and therefore be head judge.

BiB Actually Len is an expert in both ballroom and Latin, and is, in fact, more well known (in the real danceworld) for Latin, though he did teach and coach both styles.

I can't see how they can't give it to Anton - maybe not head judge but the fourth seat. Anton now looks out of place as a dancer and unless he gets a limited older lady then he will never get a contender.

Would they ever just get rid of Anton - no I don't thinks so. So this is the next step

Karen Hardy judging on the Tour instead of Bruno,

They like continuity on Strictly. Replacement for Len or maybe Darcey ??

Aliona for Choreography corner ??

I can see some logic to the above story. The tour would ba a good opportunity to try someone out. I'm not very keen on Karen Hardy as a judge. She knows her stuff but would need to be rather more succinct than she was on ITT.

Anon was a guest on the tour last year on select dates as a judge and apparently he did a good job, that& him judging the peoples strictly I wouldn't count him out yet, then again though Brendan has done Australia judging so they could pick his experience and use it for SCD,

forgot to add though that I don't think Len will be the only judge leaving, I think Bruno or Darcey will also be heading for the exit this series, if Darcey goes also why not get Karen to replace Darcey and Anton to replace Len, then all those wanting Karen& Anton on the panel are happy?
