So he deserves hatred and contempt for playing a game?
Some serious perspective is needed here Veri.
Despicable are murderers, paedophiles, terrorists. Not some numpties playing a game to win on a TV show.

Unlikely, but now my prefered outcome. Andy slightly over Jason, only because Charlie will have spent the winnings before Emma interviews him, buying soft furnishings for that love nest she's been creating for them since her depature 😳

children are always at the mercy of their parent's decisions thankfully we live in a civilised society that has a benefit system which protects vulnerable in society (eg children) so there is a net that prevents them from living in true poverty but again, theyre at the mercy of their parents because the benefits agency cant ensure the money they provide for the children is actually spent on the children. that doesnt mean though that they should be given preferential treatment in any other walk of life just because they have children if someone wants their child to have a good life then they have to grow up, make sensible choices and put in some effort and not expect others to give them an easy ride just because theyve chosen to have children. lateysha did just that by going on bb but being a single mother shouldnt have given her a free ride that she seems to think shes entitled to, so shes just going to have to move on & do her best for her child on her own merit

I've already addressed such points:

(Not that it's clear that it is what would have happened. Are you sure Jackson would evict Jason, for example?)”

Are ethics and morality supposed to go out the window because other HMs don't respect him? What sort of odd reasoning is that?

I don't especially care about the word "honourable". Not pressing the button would have been praiseworthy; pressing it is despicable.

"Deserves hatred and contempt?" What ARE you talking about?

An awful lot is being excused in BB because it's a "game".

But after seeing so many having no problem with what Jason did, I'm no longer so puzzled about why Helen won. Something has happened to the BB audience over the years, and it's not something good.

So what if it's a game? So what if he'd be hot favourite for eviction? So what if he had to do it to stay in the game? None of that makes it ok for him to do what he did!

Sorry, but are you comparing Jason to Helen? Because if you are, I think that's unfair. Helen is a million times worse than Jason. Jason wouldn't do half of the things she did in the house, like say someone looks like a murderer and a rapist.

I haven't specifically posted on this year's series before tonight, but from reading previous posts of yours, am I right in thinking that you like Laura? She pressed the buzzer as well, so do you think that her pressing the buzzer is despicable as well?

Do you think they shouldnt nominate then ?

Do you think we shouldn't vote ?

Are those things despicable as they also lead to someone getting kicked out?

The definition of the word despicable which you feel compelled to keep bandying about willy nilly !!

Many of the others did exactly what he did. He happened to be the fastest one to press.
Does that make them 'despicable' too?
Should none of them enter the game that is BB to play it and get as far as they can given any opportunity presented to them?

I genuinely don't understand what the problem is with what Jason did 👀

I was indifferent to both him and Lateysha before tonight. I respect the fact he played the game. I also think he made a fantastic tactical decision and it's win-win for him. Extra day in the house and some money to boot. If it all happened again, Lateysha still wouldn't have pressed the button, so she was never going to get any money (as far as we know) unless she won it - which she clearly thought she would.

Missed the last task as I had to leave the room, but just watched it from the clip, and I like it

Can't see all of them being poor and sleeping on rags, with basic food, no hot water. The HMs would need to know poor to be able to hack it. But we'll see tomorrow won't we

Love the task though

Would have been a busman's holiday for Lateysha is she was still in there

I don't know where you're getting that "definition" from. In any case, I don't agree with it, and it's not what I'm using the word to say.

Yes, it does. How many times to I have to say it?

(Not that the others have done exactly what he did, however.)

As if nomination and voting are the same as what Jason did.

Why are you focusing on the "lead to someone getting kicked out" part anyway? It's not the only problematic aspect.

I think she would have chosen poor, to make her look good in the eyes of the voting public. It would be a good tactic to do, as long as the public forgot how she ranted and raved about basic food at one time. But say she decided to be honest and remembered her past misdeeds, she'd have to chose Rich, much against her wishes of course.
