Jason explained his reasons very clearly and they seem like valid reasons.

1. They don't get on.
2. He was in danger. If he didn't press someone may have picked him.
3. Lateysha already has a media career. If anyone least deserved their place it was her.
4. He wanted to give other people a chance at winning as she was a favourite.

It's not like he was doing it to win. This is going to reflect bad on him and cost him winning if anything. Hopefully he can make it to the final though.
