SOTS or DS forum?
Etty_Dee

It seems that this forum has the polar opposite view of Jason's action. Are FMs here in a minority, and the SOTs crew represent the BB audience?

SOTS tends to follow the popular crowd's opinions and generally for thick people, meanwhile DS forum we actually closely analyze Housemates and their actions in the house.

SOTS audience and guests tend to be thick, while us lot on DS are intelligent.

Agree with this. DS has a huge cross-section of opinions--sometimes frustratingly so
But the different opinions always gives you somethings to think about. The few times I've checked into SOTS I wondered if those people even watch the show---including the presenters!!!

That audience are the worst example of braindead mob mentality. In private, they probably think along the same lines as DS. But in public? They prefer to look like "good people". *rolleyes*

Yeah I don't think either do.

I think Jason did the right thing, the screeching about it on BOTS was unbearable. Having said that I don't find the opinions on here of any more value than those expressed on BOTS, I'm sure if it had been Hughie or Jayne that had been evicted then we'd have had to endure the exact same screeching on here.

DS, post opinion from their keyboard and can compose themselves before a reply, BOTS, caught up in the moment and put themselves up for ridicule in favour of a TV appearance.

Only reason I was shocked was the fact Jason is deluded that he actually thinks he has a chance of winning anyway. Every one of them was a threat to him winning, he just didn't like Lateysha, simple as! He cannot deny that because he would then make himself a liar (again) because every time there was the threat of someone being evicted he was banging on about how he was only just saved last week so he was more vulnerable! He needs to think before he speaks because his comments are as equally BS as Jackson's!!

Exactly this, I don't think most of the panel watch BB and just go with the audience. I am not a massive Jason fan but I think he did the right thing. Lateysha and her mob were taking over the house and something needed to be done. I admired Jason for sticking his neck out and also Laura and Evelyn for calling Jackson and others out on their double standards. I think that Jason, Laura and Evelyn stood head and shoulders above the rest of the house tonight for being honest!

Deluded cos he thinks he might win ? I'm not sure he's ever said that, although after tonight he's probably increased his chances. He pressed the button to avoid being evicted... and rightly so, he'd have been a complete fool not to do it.

I concur, DS is normally the voice of reason, and SOTS is the knee jerk voice of the in-crowd fans.

But by that logic, you'd have to be sure Leteysha would win it. I believe she DID think she had it tied up in a bow, but people had started going off her, apart from her band of gargoyles.
Jason thought he would be a goner on the spot, due to the way noms and HellWeek were going. He acted to save himself from being evicted last night and I'm not gonna hold it against him. It's a bloody game.
Her little coven were screaming about treachery, which is bullshit. Nobody knows how the rest of the series will play out, so why are they convinced Leteysha would get the prize money for her poor, deprived kid? And the other HMs would forfeit their own chances of winning for love of "Teesh".? I don't ruddy think so.
Jackson chats arse nuggets Mr Philanthropist divvying up the dosh. Yeah, right.
Promising his son's life, too, what is with these men prepared to swear on their children's' lives for lies and booze?
I'm happy it went this way, and I'd like to shake Jason's hand and buy him and Andy a drink. Good on em. Laura and Evelyn too. Good to see some sane people still in there.

I think Twitter has always been the fairest and most reliable over the years.

Not the forums, not the BOTS lot, not the panel and not the crowd.

And to sum up from there:

Alex- Non existent
Andy- Mostly negative
Hughie- Mostly positive however 2/3 weeks ago he was extremely positive
Ryan- 50/50
Sam- No one notices him
Laura- Mixed
Evelyn- Becoming increasingly positive
Jason- 50/50 after tonight
Jayne- Mostly positive
Jackson- Annoying a few people, but have some hardcore supporters

Agree.

There would be more screeching here than there was on BOTS if Hughie was evicted (or even Jayne).

Actually there was a couple of people in the SOTS audience who dissed Lateysha and stuck up for Jason. Unfortunately one of them was that annoying Irish bloke.

Brilliant post! We are voting to save now and I hope for the rest of the series - best thing BB could have done otherwise Jason would have been nominated for sure and a vote to evict would have seen him out. He deserves to stay for getting rid of the bookies favourite IMO.

Funny how some of you see yourselves as superior to BOTS, yet seem very knowledgable about it. The haters are obviously avid viewers.

There is nothing 'representative' about Bots

It merely pushes whatever the producers' agenda is at that moment

The 'audience' are part of that production
