Aptx isn't to be sniffed at, and the modularity had potential to be good if they had put a bit more thought into it.
I think we are at a stage where there is little left to bring to the table, what would you like it to do, make the tea?
As I mentioned in another thread I've just bought a G5 fully expecting to have issues with build, but no such issues, I am keeping it. I think LG's biggest crime here was making such a huge deal about the metal build, and people instantly assumed that means metal finish.
I think its a worthy flagship, I welcome its 'failure' as it means I paid significantly less for the G5 than any other SD820 /4GB phone.
I have been saying since the iPhone 4 that making phones comparable to jewellery is a slippery slope, and now we have reached a point where silicon-heads are marking down awesomely specced, capable kit because it isn't shiny enough
