I didn't like her, and I don't think someone from a Reality TV show should have any place on civilian BB in the first place

So I was glad to see her go

That said, she was generally well liked in the house and would probably have got to the final without ever being up for eviction

Given the fact that she is in the top three of every on-line poll, it's fair to assume she would have made the top three in the final and been top woman at least ... she actually had a real shout at winning the whole thing

So, it's fair to say ... she was royally shafted

I no love for Lateysha at all but the OP is not wrong. However you feel about Lateysha that was a harsh way to go.

She would have been in my bottom 3/4 this year, but I'm absolutely gobsmacked by the reaction on here tonight. It was utterly unfair. As it was with Chelsea - who I really didn't like. Posters are so bloody fickle! It's wrong the way they're doing this. Remember - YOU DECIDE. Load of bs. It wouldn't matter who it was - the worst housemate in the history of BB. Conor or Helen or anyone. They should NOT be evicted like this. It's BS, plain and simple.

The joyous celebration of what happened is fairly sickening, I'm finding, as a genuine BB fan.

At the same time though, i don't think she should have been in there at all. If she had stayed, she would have won, there is no doubt about it. She had an unfair advantage at the start because she already has a massive following.

It's a mess because of how the show is now, the people in charge are the ones to blame.

I admire the GREAT Chelsea, and his bollocks, for that. He was great, Lateysha was pathetic and annoying and gracelessly vengeful when it happened to her. Talk about 'true colours'.

Maybe it's unfair on all of the top female HMs over the years that have come 3rd. Women hardly ever win and again and again face top 3 She has got out in such a way that she has huge attention on her and is well liked. Maybe she will make money and do well out of this in a way she never could if she'd been allowed to go down the more traditional route.

I love that Jason has made a big move like this but I certainly didn't want Lateysha to go. I hoped the supposed big move we were anticipating was going to be Jackson or Alex out, better still Ryan. However like I said maybe this is great for her after all only one in there can actually win.

I'm glad it was her but I agree it's not a fair way for anyone to go. It would be no more unfair on her than anyone else had someone else been quicker hitting the button.

Personally, I didn't like her so her going was best for me but I would have preferred to see her evicted by the public. I feel I've been denied that. Cheated!

It doesn't bother me that much - I didn't even like Lateysha. I'm more depressed, to be honest, by this board tonight. Usually, DS is interesting when something like this happens; when the original concept gets a major erosion. Because that's what this is. A MAJOR deviation from the concept. So much has changed. We're allowed to discuss that.

The utter hypocrisy of DS being up to high doh because Chelsea was evicted other than by the public; followed by a stark contrast of utter jubilation at Lateysha's BB demise should make for an interesting conversation, no?

I remember reading threads on here years ago saying the show had completely changed to the degree so many were giving up on it and the basic tenants had all but gone. Apparently there were still more changes to come to the level that would completely change BB . . .

Those who live by the sword, die by the sword. If she was only a threat in terms of being the likely winner I don't think she'd have been picked, but she had also been the ringleader in a lot of situations, none of them particularly laudable.

In the past the Big Brother process has rewarded underhandedness and bitching. This goes to show that you have to at least try to get on with the HMs you don't particularly like if you want to win. Lateysha made the age-old mistake of thinking people who aren't your friends don't matter.

I'm a genuine BB fan, well I was in the past and I still like keeping up with the show so I think I still qualify. But anyway I had all but given up on this year, don't really care that much about any of them, don't hate them or anything, I'm just meh...I'm not crowing about Lateyshas exit and I wish her well, she'll do alright out of her time in BB anyway, I'm sure.


I do agree that it was unfair on Lateysha and Chelsea, but hey, that's BB's fault not the viewers and thy're not the first to be shafted by BB. All this 'we decide' is rubbish and the voters haven't been in control for some years TBH. It's totally manipulated by BB and I've accpeted that now so all I want is to be entertained and I loved the show tonight. That's why I liked what Jason did, his actions made me want to watch and that's all I'm looking for in BB now, I gave up investing in individual housemates ages ago, but hey... that's just me.

This whole twist is unfair , we decide who leave ..or should . BB are pulling out all stops to make sure their winner is Alex and BB are making sure anyone who has a chance of winning is taken out .

I don't think the producers thought this was a possibility. I reckon they bet on Andy pushing the button and evicting Ryan who they saw as disposable or someone voting out Jayne or Jason. That's what makes it such a great moment. Noone saw it coming not the producers or the audience.

People say it should be the public who vote but sorry the public are a bunch of morons. That's why Scotty T won CBB last time because he had an already established fanbase. Lateysha winning would have been because of her twitter following not her time in the house. People should win the show for their time in the house and not how many twitter followers they have. What has Lateysha actually done in the house that you can remember? She's not been a great housemate anyway. Good riddance.
