Well obviously we can discuss anything as clearly we are but the whole change thing I kind of thought had been done to death. We have what we have which is just wait and see what next. As for the BIB wow just wow. DS isn't a group acting on mass. Maybe some are hypocritical, maybe we all are at times but as for the recent evictions I didn't actually want either to go but would have cheered if it had been Jackson, Alex or Ryan so am I hypocritical for that By the way I can only speak for myself but assume everyone has their reasons for rejoicing and for disliking.

You didn't really expect anything else did you. This is a forum has change so much. The nastiness I have seen building over the last few years is shocking. I hardly post now as I just can't be bothered to waste my energy on nasty spiteful people. There use to be fun threads and forum members you could have a fun bit of banter with. No its all about how some is a slag whore fat ugly etc etc and people really seem to take great pleasure in it.
No one in that house is that bad this year they all seem like quite alright people. But there has been so much nastiness directed at them I just don't understand it

I'm sorry, in my experience that's total nonsense.

I was on here YEARS ago and it was an absolute BEAR PIT - you had to have a thick skin to enter and many couldn't hack it.

I completely agree with this, if she is a reality tv star then she should have gone on the celeb version with the following she already has! She had an unfair advantage, and acted like she was above others. She was leader of her clique and had no real time for the others, exactly as Laura said the other day that certain people had a bigger entitlement and felt more superior and they mattered more! Lateysha was the biggest diva, even telling BB they couldn't have her chocolate biscuits! Sorry but if it had been Jayne, Laura or Evelyn that had gone tonight hardly anybody would have bothered!

Usually I'd agree - in fact, earlier in this series I contributed to a thread saying it had calmed down. But the reaction to Lateysha's eviction tonight has really shocked me. Extremely nasty tone tonight. Hopefully once people have a chance to sleep on it they might reconsider.

Yep, it's tame to what it was, it was brutal back in the day. However I and most other posters, have never name called any of the housemates, and it's always been a good place to discuss BB, but it was busier and much less moderated years ago. Not saying that was a good thing, it IS lovelier now, even if I do miss some of the more um...livelier times.

'Fraid not, pal. You just enjoy watching a TV programme, like me. To qualify as a "genuine BB fan" you have to loath Channel 5 for all their 'meddling' and remember Channel 4 with wistful fondness, you have to have campaigned against (ie, whinged online about) the loss of Live Feed and use the lack of LF as an absence of evidence that somehow validates whatever point you want to make, you have to be vociferous to the exclusion of logic, and you have to channel a lifetime's worth of anger and frustration with your own life and the wider world and project it onto any HM that even looks a bit like someone you once met that turned out to be a pr*ck. And so on.

If Lateysha had been a bit graceful about it all, if she hadn't MILKED the single mother stuff, if she hadn't have acted in such an entitled way, I would have felt that it was a shame that she went.

However she pulled every cheap shot in the book, and was unbearably confident in her minions and her huge following (that shouldn't have allowed her even IN civilian BB) that the reaction is understandable, as it revealed what it was ALL about for her.


Not that it wasn't unfair, it was, but well, nothing we can do about that.

That's how I feel. Of course I'd prefer if we went back to basics and stuck rigidly to YOU DECIDE but it's not that show now. They clearly make it up as they go along and their twists are ill-thought out and they ARE unfair but I'm not dropping out yet. I'll watch to the end of the series and make the most of it in the meantime.

Mind you, I'd be the first to admit that I don't like twists until they go my way. Then I'm, for the most part, quite ok with them. Every cloud...

I make no apologies for enjoying a 'reality' TV show. Unfair twists, warts and all. It's usually (hopefully!) not a reflection on my good character.

Exactly this, Lateyshas biggest problem was thinking she was bigger than the show and had everything her own way for too long! We saw her clique bow down to her and anybody like Andy or Jason who they didn't like got a hard time, even Laura and Evelyn to a degree. Lateysha even said in the dr the other day that she looked on Laura, Evelyn, Jayne and Andy as the weaker people of the house, basically they were cannon fodder and could leave for all she cared! She even smirked when she knew Chelsea was being evicted! I much prefer for us the voters have a say who goes but I do think that a lot of people thought Lateysha got her comeuppance tonight!

It could be a bear pitt true. I came over here from the channel 4 site. In the days of bb 5 6 and 7. Now that was harsh. but i remember funny threads as well some reasonably debate
now it seems you read a thread and it just pure slagging off no humour. just calling people fat whore slut slags it goes on and on

Yes, I have to agree, the best it's been for many years in fact! It was definitely a BEAR PIT here years ago and you had to have a strong character to stay and we had massive debates and disagreements and many more people got banned in them days too!

Since when was BB about fairness. Think that thoroughly got thrown out the window when it moved over to Ch5.

Bit in bold - good. A lot of people on here tonight are, though; and in a very unpleasant way. I didn't even like the girl, but what's struck me most is the hypocrisy of the different reactions to Chelsea and Lateysha's evictions.

BB make and change rules all the time. That's the game like it or not. Jason pressed the button and evicted a HM. Not unfair. She's no more deserving than anyone else.

I have not seen a lot humour. But then i don't find fat jokes and slag joke and bad mum jokes funny.

This forum is dying has been dying for years. Every year there are less and less post of any real interest just slagging off housemates to max.

I will say that today when no-one was sure who was going that was a fun time speculating

I saw some of the name calling early on this series but I think those people got bans or they gave up because people ignored them! I think it has been very quiet of late but there has been more of a buzz this week like in the old days.

Yes it was unfair how both Chelsea and Lateysha have gone this week but I have seen worse, for instance, the year when Connor took a case full of money for being vile, nasty and a real plonker! That's just one instance but there have been others!

Lateysha's biggest fault was that she couldn't hide that smirk. She said the right things in the diary room, but, her sly smile kept popping up. She thought she was safe, her 'shirt tail hangers' thought their easy ride to the final was safe! None of that crew felt they were in danger 😉

As far as I'm concerned, well done Jason, you stirred it up big style 👏 👍

The show threads have been absolutely HILARIOUS, in my opinion.

It's unfair to Andrea Leadsom for getting tons of grief for suggestions she should win as she's a mother.. but it seems to be OK for Lateysha
