The indignation of the chavs
I don't get all the drama, their self indignation at how a twist would take saint lateysha, the woman of the people, away from them.
there has been twists that have targeted loads of other housemates...since when should she be immune? the meltdown was crazy, seriously over dramatic and quite weird to be honest..like she has just been sent to the gulags, never to be seen again.. And why did she leave her child and miss its first steps..Not a model parent..AND shes looking for sympathy..Its beyond me. |

Not forgetting the fact they were all quite happy to see Jayne go. They even said he should have chosen Jayne.
Lateysha is the same as anyone. Just a normal housemate. The Groovy Gang are just realising they're not immune.

Looking on social media, it's 50/50 to be fair. Half are glad Lateysha are out, and half are hating Jason.

Not a Jayne fan but when they were all basically saying oh Jayne should have gone and she was just nodding her head along with them made me feel sorry for her. Hopefully the penny has dropped with her that the bedroom bitches aren't as much a fan of her as she thought.

The best part was Sam saying "We'll do this for her now...".... HAHA! Is there a telephone # we can call to send her donations? FFS!

I noticed Josie was pretty mad too. Then I thought back to when she practically drove Caoimhe to leave the house because she was potentially flirting with John James. She kind of did a similar thing to what Jason did to Lateysha, only he did it with a button and for some cash instead of a full hate campaign.

May be the child's long term security was deemed more important than the short term gains.![]() I never get the use of terms like chav, or personal labels aimed at posters/hms with a different view, it highlights a posters age.

It's always nice to call a child 'it'.

They treated her as if she was some kind of entertainment, and the daft woman obliged. It always seemed to me that they were quite happy to laugh at her, not with her.

Jason's daughter is 20 I think she is old enough to be left alone.
![]() Would Jason not go and perform stunts for a film then if he has a child in the future......thought not as he's 'providing'. You could say Lateysya was but in another form, yet the child is still deprived of a parents either way. Jason shouldn't be so quick to criticise you never on i w what the future holds. Actually it'd be interesting to know how much each father puts into spending time with there child I.e Jackson, and jason. A parent's duties never truly stop, your still an important presence. ![]() Didn't Alex also hint at a child being due, all hush hush. If that's true isn't that a stinker not being at the birth? |

It's a term used by the worst kind of snob. The type of snob that Andy is.
Additionally, the immature that can't formulate an argument or an alternative.

I'm not from the UK and don't really know what "chav" means. I looked it up and wiki says: "Chav (/ˈtʃæv/ chav) is a pejorative epithet used in Britain to describe a particular stereotype.[1][2] The word was popularised in the first decade of the 21st century by the British mass media to refer to an anti-social youth subculture in the United Kingdom.[3] The Oxford English Dictionary defines "chav" as an informal British derogatory, meaning "a young lower-class person who displays brash and loutish behaviour and wears real or imitation designer clothes"
I don't get the "antisocial" part since it seems like people who are being called "chavs" are social....or does it just mean they are anti-social with non-chavs. Urban dictionary didn't help much. I see the term "chav" used with Scotty T type people so it makes me think of young, dumb, partiers who just care about clothes, parties, sex and fame. Is that correct? Also is "chav" an offensive insult? I think I have figured out some of the UK terms, like "mug", "muggin", and "pied" (all seem like they mean "blowing me off" or "making me look like a fool") but chav still confuses me. |

I'm surprised that Jackson wasn't in there to say it first like he did with Georgina, who he hardly mentions now.

It's used to basically explain poor/working class (from the north or council estates), male, youngsters that they think dress scruffy (sporty/cap-market type getup) and thus assume they are lager louts, heavy smokers, loud argumentative/swearing types, unemployed and a social nuisance. Think of the London riots of 2011 youths and the way they were described and you get the idea. ![]() It's definitely derogatory and people that use it merely feed its unnecessary popularity and existence.
