It's not endearing so I have no idea why they play on it. Girls want to come across this way more so now a days.

Nice post and I agree. I felt sorry for Jayne who seemed to have resigned herself to being evicted.

Too be fair she'll gain a larger chunk in a shorter amount of time if she capitalizes upon this. Alone that's more security in terms of housing etc. I can see the enticement of wanting a large amount for minimal work, then she can show end more time at home with her daughter. I'm sure she will enter normAl 9 to 5 work after all this farce dies down.

As for Jackson he certainly plays on financial gain in regards to his son, actually much of his behaviour is justified by using his son.

Jackson still has parental responsibilities sorry, 3 months is along time as you say to be away from a child that's use to seeing you, so that includes Jackson too. Let's be honest here gnashing if Lateyshas baby went home with her dad people would still be slating her, so yes she would still be getting flack unlike Jackson so it is because she's female.

And a grandparent is more than adequate care for your child, if anything they're spoilt more.

and it's statements like that which perpetuate the myth - because it is a myth - that leads to young people believing that a career in reality TV is going to set them up for life! Lateysha has already had her shot at TV fame - on a show which ran for several series don't forget - and yet she's still telling us she's skint.

Let's say she makes 200k from this - that's 160k after agents fees, then she'll be taxed on that, NI conts... the on-line calculators I can find are quoting a take-home of 95-99k.

TRUE, it's a lot of money - but it' doesn't last long when you're buying 1k shoes (as we've seen Lateysha wearing) and paying out for plastic surgery.

So she puts it towards a small house/flat and then what? Onto benefits?

Or she parties for a year and treats herself and her daughter... and then what, onto benefits again. Can't see her working a normal job because she thinks she's too special and too "famous" to do such things.

It's a poisoned chalice and no mistake.

Some may be strongly against abortion

Surely it's not the child fault so keeping a child and rearing it is the better option compared to the gruesome alternative, so I don't get why some assume getting rid of a child is the easier or more desirable option.

Sometimes struggling to bring up a child is the brave option, all too often abortions are used because it'll impact negatively upon the parent.

I'm sure she'll have to eventually as we all do.

But for the time being that amount of money is a couple of years pay for most, you can see why anyone in that position would take whatever opportunity comes your way. Even if she gets a small regular radio or presenting job out of it in Wales it doesn't look like to bad of a gamble for her to gain some regular income/job. It all depends on how mature she is during the aftermath of this experience.

Anyone who isn't working class is usually referred to as middle class. Upperclass in this country is usually reserved only for aristocracy or anyone from 'old money'.
