Evelyn Coming into her own
tmj

I feel like she's taken on board the advice to not be afraid to speak her mind and delivered some home truths to Jackson. I'm sure everybody was thinking it, but nobody had the guts to say it.

Jackson is truly becoming unbearable with his false holier than thou attitude and he certainly looked rattled by the Evelyn and Laura confrontation. Sadly he won't go and may even win this thing.

She was great viewing last night, loved what she said to Jackson and he knew she had cottoned on to him.

True. I'm not a huge fan but fair play to her. That haunted look in Jacksons eyes that said "oh shit, I've been rumbled" was a sight to behold

Yea... she's a great argument for those who prefer Vote to Evict over Vote to Save.

Clearly being a younger person, and one of the more quieter ones in the house, she struggled to get air time early on with all the big personalities, and all the screaming matches for air time (which she clearly doesn't do)

Now that a lot of them are going, people like her will rise up and show their personalities even more. And it's great to see.

I also think Georgina especially leaving was great for her. As she said in her DR, she felt she could finally be more herself and wasn't judged as much. I think we've seen that translate in the house and I've thought this for a couple weeks (Like Andy when talking about her in the forgettable task said the past couple weeks she has come out of her shell)

I really like her. I actually think her and Laura are the most genuine and likeable housemates surprisingly.

Don't forget it was actually Laura who called out Jackson first

I think they're both great. But I'm giving Evelyn extra props for taking him on alone in front of all his allies knowing full well he could easily get them to choose to kick her out next

I agree! They don't seem cunning or spiteful in any way. Just two nice, genuine, highly sexed (and none the worse for that) girls!

Evelyn has gone up in my estimation for calling Jackson out on his bull. I applaud her for that and that's not an easy thing for me to do considering I despised her a few weeks ago.

I never understood why she was hated.

I always liked her, but I can understand why some may not have felt much towards her or thought she was boring based on the edit.

But she has never done anything IMO to be hated...but somehow she still has a lot of haters...

I agree. I think people forgot that Laura took a big risk there.
I think they both deserve equal credit.

I don't mean to be smug but I actually saw hints of this side of Evelyn a few weeks ago when she tried to explain the 'Sam is Lateysha's bitch' comment (she was right by the way and other HMs have said worse!). Even though the whole group essentially ganged up against her and Laura, she faced up to them and tried to explain her POV, not that anyone was listening.

She has made a few comments since then that feel like what I would say in the same situations and she comes across as genuine to me.

The fact that she effectively managed to shut Jackson up was not particularly surprising but it was impressive!

Yea I remember her calling out Georgina (rightly) at one point using the "That's Bullshit" line when she said she never talked behind people's backs and said everything to their face. It was right after she overheard her call her a stupid cow.

Oh I definitely saw this side of her. I've liked her from the beginning, just based on the few glimpses of her BB allowed us to see. I do think she is more confident in herself now though

I was loving it when Evelyn told Jackson that he was basically talking crap when he said that he would have gave £1,000 to each housemate. Go Evelyn! Laura said something similar but Evelyn said exactly what needed to be said. Jackson might be an okay lad, but he's in there to try and win the prize. I didn't believe what Jackson said at all.

Yes it was Laura that started the conversation and called out Jackson and all the bedroom bitches about being honest, but some people seem to forget that and only think Evelyn did it!

I think that both Laura and Evelyn are the most fun and up front people in the house and up until now have been shut down by the likes of Georgina and Lateysha but these two girls are so much nicer and grounded and don't act like spoilt brats!

I would love to see both Laura and Evelyn in the final!

Evelyn, Jason and Andy are my top 3 - not necessarily in that order but I want them to be the final 3.

I don't think Laura will be in the final. If she is one of the 3 least popular on Friday I have a feeling that she will be the one chosen by the housemates to be evicted.

They do. I made this thread about Evelyn because I feel like she's had to work on her self confidence in the house, whereas Laura has always come across as a strong woman who knows her mind (except for when it comes to men, but that's harmless enough).

A bit more about Laura. I feel like she was first week eviction fodder, and through some fluke survived it. And what a blessing that way - she went from a one dimensional character (BB pretty much only showed her in relation to Marco) to, I feel, one of the most interesting, kind and genuine people in there. If she'd been up that first week I'm sure she'd be gone, and we'd have had Marco in her place

It's so funny that like 90% of her hate is Georgina fans (with a Georgina picture or their name involving Georgina somehow) or Jacksina fans (like really??...don't these people realize they will very likely break up in the next couple months)...

When she never really did anything to Georgina except exist... her whackadoodle fans have taken after her in every way.
