You can get away with murder on DS , just as long as the victim is a "chav".
I must admit I'm not totally sure what a chav is I'd have preferred Jackson, Ryan or Alex to have gone, are they chavs? I need to know if I'm prejudiced against chavs

It seems pretty clear to me that the glee re Lateysha going on here is about a serious move being made against a serious contender in the competition plus Lateysha expressing entitlement as a mother and as a HM simply never goes down well. Also and perhaps most importantly a HM from a perceived picked on group has managed to bite back at the dominant group. In my view all these reasons particularly the last is what DS (if you can call DS a homogeneous group) like.

Jayne has proved to be a good sport time and again. Jason is the one who whined about being nominated for eviction. Held a house meeting to tell them all off.
I know. I like Jayne and certainly haven't warmed to Jason's character and antics BUT I do believe Jayne would not have taken it as well as she is now suggesting and I do believe the others would have still used the opportunity to turn on him.

I may not love and applaud the man but I love and applaud his decision.

ETA There was a VT on BOTS last night showing Jayne talking to Jason saying that she is going to play the game from now on, whatever that means

why would Jason pick Jayne , it does him no good , the bedroom gang just think that's the accepted narrative , but Jason's not part of their gang , so it makes sense for him to pick one of the competition / someone who doesn't like him / someone with power , and thats Lateysha .

.

And I think she'd have taken it rather well. She was prepared for it. she expected to be next so it wouldn't have surprised her.

In any other scenario he would have picked Jayne. He was making sure his bitchy bench crew knew to target Jayne for 2 days at least. Jackson said he would have picked Jayne.

I guessed correctly that Jason or Jackson would press it , both did. I guessed correctly that it would Lateysha. BB made clear in the days before poll that Lateysha was fav to win. Jason is transparent to me. I never fell for his poor me, I'm just a victim routine. He's always been tactical.

Well it's a moot point and as far as I'm concerned Jason did good for the show and good for himself whatever his rationale.

You think so? The fact that she criticised Jason's decision (in front of housemates) of having Lateysha evicted shows that she's desperate to stay in the house. She was trying to keep in well with the others by showing others that she was criticising Jason for his decision when they were in the garden area.

Exactly. Though to be fair to her they were all acting their little hearts out trying to please each other and the voting public. Like Evelyn said they were all over it a nano second later

Jason didn't need to explain to them why he evicted Lateysha, he did and they need to get over it .Lateysha and Jackson think being a single parent means they deserve to be in the house and deserve to get to the final over the others...BS.
Agree ... no one else needed to explain their decisions, everyone had agreed that what was decided in that room during this week's task would stay in that room. But then they truly believed they would be able to just get rid of the likes of Andriy, Jason, Jayne , Laura and Evelyn.
As already pointed out many times on here the sense of entitlement was seen throughout this series. Being a single parent doesn't make you any more entitled to win. However if you had watched the valleys you will see Queen Lateysha is the same in that just more entitled and throws more tantrums if she doesn't get what she wants.

I honestly don't care what his reasons were, I only care about the hilarious outcome that resulted from them.
Exactly, it's hilarious seeing the Laytesha fans implode over someone else getting their hands on her money.

Yep, she jumped on the bandwagon too. Aligning herself with people that wanted HER out.

She's been in showbiz already... So has hr, at an intentional scale then.

She left her child. Regardless of age, so has he, didn't even know about the girl for years. He left his dog who could die at anytime soon too.

She was a frontrunner to win. So was he. Sure he wouldn't have known this though. Lateysha was never up so her popularity wasn't known, but he was first saved whether) when he was up, surely that's an indicator of popularity.

I wonder why he wants to win this show so much anyway. Doesn't look like the kind who'd care or even heard about the show before.
Whilst I don't believe that it is my place to judge Lateysha for leaving her child, a 20-year-old is a far cry from a 9-month-old so your comparison is a silly one.

I can't see the young girls voting for Jason to win.
Don't think an older housemate has ever won BB,

Cameron (BB4) was the oldest winner of civilian BB. He was 32 at the time

So glad Lateysha was voted out, afterwards you clearly saw her true colours as nasty, bitter and childish.

I just thought that "Game players" revealing their" true colours" were not normally as celebrated as Jason has been. But as usual when a game player you approve of is involved the "well it it a game " excuse has been liberally trotted out.

I don't think he's a huge favourite to win and never has been, whereas she has thousands of twitter followers and was favourite from the start.

He won 20,000 and had to evict someone. Why not evict someone who would have evicted him?

I don't think they're approved of in the House but I think they're approved of out here and have been since at least BB12 when Aaron won, not that he was particularly good at it but the art of game playing began to be admired around then. However, I appreciate not by everyone but by a substantial amount of people.

As for only liking it if you like the game player well that could be said of any characteristic, you always give more leeway to someone you like but also it is about how you game play EG people can have a downer on Ryan trying to manipulate us with his over the top I'm funny me routine whilst drink in and love the drama and pleasure of seeing Jason take down a huge player in the BB game.

Funnily enough I've never liked Jason and been quite loudly against him on here but I love what he did last night so no I don't think it's about liking the game player and therefore finding an excuse for the game player's activities.

He gave clear reasons which were his and his alone. And she went.
but he didn't give clear reasons. that's the point. first, he said he was being tactical, because he thought L had a chance of winning. then -- later -- he brought up all the nonsensical personal stuff like 'she never liked me' 'she's been on tv before' 'she shouldn't have left her child at home' etc. so there were no clear reasons. was it tactical or personal? he should, at least, be consistent.

yes, of course, it's a game but you can still play -- and win -- a game with honour and integrity.

I agree.
He had no right to fetch her child into it.
He left his dog to be on BB.
