Assuming that Samantha Giles isn't they could dramatically kill off her character towards the end of the year or even early next year, as Ashley's dementia progresses further.
In a tragic turn of events, Ashley (who Is being looked after by Bernice) suddenly doesn't recognize her and in distressing scenes starts attacking her, beating her to death.

Samantha Giles has stated that she won't be staying at Emmerdale for long, so she could be killed off in this huge turn of events. Eventually, this would lead to Ashley going into a home, and in the spring next year having a fatal seizure. This storyline Is going to be very hard to watch, but I just have a feeling that as Ashley's dementia progresses something huge is going to happen, something like this.
