A crowd of under 3000 watches Notts lose 1-0 at home to Cambridge, fire yet again. Derry's 3rd win in a row over Notts since leaving us for Cambridge. This blog sums it up well https://medium.com/@jacobncm/somethi...c3c#.491waccw2

Martin Allen and Barnet on Saturday who beat Plymouth last night. Another ex manager to embarrass us then

Yep that happened. Barnet win 3-2 and Notts only had a 10 minute good spell after getting a consolation. Everyone has turned on the board now. Losing every game in November has killed our promotion hopes. On the plus side, the league is still so tight

Peterborough in the cup could be a distraction before Wycombe at home who are now in the play offs

I find it amazing that we (Crawley) beat Grimsby 3-2 even though we're crap at the moment. My home town plymouth lost to them 3-0 last week I think. You just never know with this league.

2-0 defeat at home to Wycombe today, a game in which O'Connor's sending off ruined our chances of getting back into. Akinfenwa scored and was later sent off. Absolutely dire state of Notts. Onto Colchester next week now

Plymouth beat Doncaster in the big game at the top, while at the bottom Exeter get a vital win at Cheltenham

I feel for you a bit every time i watch soccer saturday and hear your lot are looking lame again. Are things going to get worse before they get better? Your players don't look too bad and your manager has done ok in a few jobs before in League 2. Presumably its the whole set-up from top level to youth/reserves?

Another great win away for Exeter, jeff stelling on soccer saturday said that's 21 of their 23 points achieved on the road (so just 2 draws and countless defeats at home then).

Good win for my team pompey, although yet again the performance itself sounded rather average. Some of the locals, of which ive no idea if its the minority or majority, want Cook out. I think we might as well stick with him for this season, we're almost at the average points per game needed to get us promoted. i think 84 points would get automatic promotion 10 of last 11 seasons or something, we're on for 78 points if we maintain the current pts per game.

Exeter finally get a home win against Mansfield. Frustrating draw for Portsmouth against Hartlepool?

County lose 2-1 at Colchester. Pretty typical really, we go ahead but defensively we collapse and bottle it. 6 defeats in a row now. Sheridan has walked into an impossible job and will be gone soon, though owner Ray Trew is the problem

Peterborough in our cup replay which you can watch on BT to see if we get a trip to Chelsea. Then Doncaster and Carlisle at home which we won't get anything from

Improved effort against Doncaster today but still a 1-0 defeat. Carlisle next on Saturday so may be time to make a managerial change before an easier run after that

Plymouth let me down in a number of ways today losing the late goal as I have them to win the league in an accumulator with other teams

Notts tried much harder today but still a 3-2 defeat at home to Carlisle. 8 defeats in a row and now a tough trip to Cambridge on Monday

I see Sheridan have been sacked after today result, I have to say I'm surprise how poor Sheridan been at Notts County given his good record in this division.

Bit of needle at Fratton Park with the Luton manager accusing Pompey fans of having "no class" as they were allegedly jeering an injured player..

Maybe Sheridan will go back to Oldham if Robinson is sacked. Awful again as County lose 4-0 at Cambridge. 9 defeats in a row is unacceptable so Sheridan had to go but you have to feel sorry for him with the ownership situation. Who next?

Morecambe and Mansfield are now huge games

I just came across this story regarding the game you mention:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-ze...booked-9555532

That referee clearly has no common sense, I hope he gets a talking to by the FA.

Let's now have what actually happened, rather than what the Daily Mirror's version who I doubt even had a hack at the match.

A few minutes before hand, our right back was chopped down. We were serenaded to a rendition of "Let him die, let him die" by the Luton supporters. The Luton manager neglected to mention this in his post match whinge, not that it bothers us.

A few minutes later the Luton player went for a fair 50/50 ball with Doyle and came off worse, and was left rolling around. Play continued until the ball was kicked out. The medical staff came on and were attending to him. Probably 2-3 minutes after the initial tackle, during which he was sat up and talking to the medics but in some discomfort, he flew into what looked like a tantrum and started bashing the ground, which of course sent the Fratton End into fits, and at this point the ref booked him for this action.

At this point, there was no indication to any of the Fratton End that it was a leg break - we have all seen countless players feign injury - it is sadly part of the game now - he was sat up talking to the medics after all - so the songs equivalent to what Luton were singing a few minutes earlier when Evans was getting treatment started up. Predictably, this seemed to rile him somewhat and he responded by giving the Fratton End gestures which equally predictably drew further reaction. As he was taken off on the stretcher he (reportedly as I did not see it as it was in the corner) gave us another a gesture which provoked more reactions.

I have also heard conflicting reports from several sources of varying reliability, that he was kicking and spitting, and abused the medics on the pitch and in the ambulance, but that's only what I have heard and not witnessed so take that with a pinch of salt.

Anyway if I had a broken leg, several thousand in my ear and medics poking and pulling it the wrong way I doubt my reaction would be too civil either.

Hope he makes a quick recovery. No one deserves a broken leg.

The ref I though had a good game - let it flow, took no nonsense from either team and got most of the decisions right. One of the better ones we have had there this season.

Alot of our fans would love to see Sheridan return to manager Oldham but can't see him going back there unless our owners give him money to buy new players which unlikely to happen special Oldham haven't got a lot money plus we still under transfer Embargo so that would need to be lifted before new players come in.
