He's now cannon fodder for me, he argues over stupid things now and doesn't hear himself in an argument.

Hughie was correct, Alex didn't say anything about not taking 20k. He said he wouldn't take money out of anyone's pocket and then took 5k, Alex is a hypocrite.

I have disliked Hughie recently with all the andy stuff...

But he is totally right here...

Alex was squirming there - all the better because hughie was calling him out,

Hughie is a hypocrite, shouts at people and then complains when they shout back.

Hughies right though.

That flashback showed us that Alex lied.

So you want to punch somebody for telling the truth... to a person's face?

Also, maybe get some anger management.

Hughie is a hypocrite, shouts at people and then complains when they shout back.
And yet we've just clearly seen that the one who started shouting was Ryan. It was Hughie who first shouted back, and then got a grip on himself and walked away laughing.

I think Hughie wants to punch Hughie.

If they put him in a room alone with a mirror he'd start a fight with his own reflection.

Yeh, because Hughie has only had the one argument in the house.

And yet we've just clearly seen that the one who started shouting was Ryan. It was Hughie who first shouted back, and then got a grip on himself and walked away laughing.

Interesting post O.P.

So you want to 'punch' Hughie now??! - Because "he can't hear himself in an argument".

Oh the irony!

That says more about you my friend... than it does about Hughie.

I'd like to lock him in a portaloo and push it down a hill, what does that say about me?

That just sounds like give a dog a bad name and hang him. Hughie was in the right this time regardless of what he's said or done previously.

So what? The issue is Alex lying, not Alex taking the money.

It could be said that you, indeed, are arguing over stupid things... but to be fair (and in the interest of fair debate), that's subjective. That's the irony..... furthermore, as Littlegreen said, maybe you would benefit from some anger management.

That says to me that you are having some building work done and are thinking of more interesting ways to use a portaloo

If not, Sainsburys have some great trollies.... that never seem to work unless they're going down hill
