I never said gay people can't be monogamous, I said for many it's of little to no concern. For the gay men who want monogamous relationships they have them, for those that don't, they don't. The pressure to be in a relationship and settle down that is so strong in straight society is not as strong in gay society so those men who don't want to be in relationships don't enter them. There's very little gay infidelity because if you're the kind of gay man who doesn't seek monogamy you just don't enter monogamous relationships, you opt for an open one with a like minded partner or just choose to stay single and 'sleep around', as opposed to straight men who are under more pressure socially to be in relationships and settle down when they don't really want that, leading to cheating.
