Well, I disagree. I thought him and Andy were both being pointlessly sanctimonious about it. They were actually two of my favourites earlier on in the series, but I've gone off both of them now.

She's p***** off that he got the money, when she needs it and he is already got money on the outside. Clearly it must go deeper than that, since all Laura and Evelyn have done for a while is bitch about him, and him getting the money is just the cherry on the cake for laura.

How could they have been drunk? they are on basic rations.

They weren't drunk and why would Andy and Jason have found them eating food that wasn't theirs funny? They didn't say they shouldn't have done it but said they weren't going to join in which was their prerogative. starving to death my a*rse - they need to see starving children to see what starving is really like

What made you a fan of them earlier on in the series One think you can say about them is they haven't changed one iota so what appealed about them initially?

Well we all know they weren't drunk and as for the supposedly humourless Andy I thought I can spell pate was amusing. Did you enjoy Sam's food / hunger song That could explain a lot

I was disappointed that Jayne behaved like a sheep and caved in to peer pressure. I've been a fan of hers but started going off her when she criticized Jason the prior episode and nodded her head in agreement that she should have been evicted. Now she breaks the rules to be accepted into the group. I think she can be an individual but these sheep like episodes are concerning me. Shame on the rest of the rule breakers for eating what they weren't supposed to eat and then trying to make it out that Jason and Andy were in the wrong from not breaking the rules. I didn't think it was funny or fun watching them eat the food. No entertainment from that except for how they tried to spin it so that they didn't feel guilty.

The fact that you are disputing that they weren't drunk against my word that they were, leaves it to interpretation to all and no absolute proof either way,

How could they have been drunk with no alcohol?

It depends on your sense of humour. All of the hms know that they are in danger of dying any time soon and so took advantage of the situation and had fun by breaking the rules.

Jason and Andy had a choice to join in (in the FUN) but chose to be self-righteous arseholes and miss out. But of course to them its not about winning or anything like that. They are so fair and would never cut up their fellow hms.

Well BS..........

I think we are getting into petty stuff here that shouldn't take away from the main point of my original post.

You are better than this jeanoj.

I have a lot of respect for your posts. So please don't go down the petty sarcastic route. It doesn't suit you.

Nice of you to say so but why say they are dying? I don't get it.

it's people's lives.............
Jason and Andy most likely didn't see it as FUN and maybe they weren't hungry or they were dealing with basic rations. I don't seen any humor in the stealing food and what was the joke/humor? I enjoy a variety of humor from slapstick childish humor like the old movie Airplane to Monty Python movies to stand up comedian's like Bill Hicks....and so many more. Even something like "I can spell pate" made me smile. Sometimes I have mean humor, like laughing at Chelsea or that guy a while back who couldn't spell canoe....or surreal stuff like Sam (can't stand him) standing there holding the door handle while shouting about his mayo.

Join in.....be a sheep/follower....there was nothing fun about it

No it doesn't. They were poor HMs with only very basic rations so why on earth would they have been given alcohol. Anyway why do you think they were drunk other than it gives them an excuse for their behaviour.

You think Jason is boring and a miserable git, but he managed to give us the biggest shock/talking point in the whole series....... He deserves his place ”

He didn't GIVE us anything. He was one of four people who went to push a button - a button that was put in front of them by the BB production team. He just happened to push it fastest; and happened to choose to evict someone the forum doesn't like. His input was minimal.

I like him, I quite fancy him - but this is absolutely true.

It was obvious it was a turn of phrase. People are getting very tetchy on here with those who don't follow the party line. Nothing new there!

I thought it was funny (seriously), hence my quote of "it's people's lives" and the .
Remember, part of the discussion was sense of humor....I guess you don't get mine. That is fine and I don't get yours since eating food isn't funny unless it is like Mr. Creosote

I'm surprised that you are stereotyping the forum. Maybe stereotyping isn't the best or correct word....generalizations. This isn't meant as an insult or attack but true surprise since you provided that wonderful suggestion for the John Conner's documentary on Travelers. Now this may sound sanctimonious or like Andy (lol) but the forum is composed of individuals with varying opinions. I know you already know this Now let me be a hypocrite and say I do understand and agree with what you are saying (maybe saying): group think, pack/mob mentality...etc. It's all Social Psychology 101.

As a viewer I didn't find the food stealing/eating funny or humorous but if I was a HM maybe I would have thought it was fun and maybe not. IDK

Ironic that on a thread about supposed buzz killers Andy and Jason you decide to diminish what has clearly been an exciting time on the show. You said you quite fancy Jason, well maybe you are actually very suited

Sorry, but I have to disagree.

He had the balls to evict who the HMs perceived was the fav to win. He didn't take the easy option.

His input was anything but minimal.
