I agree.
He only worried because he thinks his winner fees going down the pan.

What?

Hughie never said it was wrong to press the button? He admitted he pressed for the 20k.

The row stemmed from Alex being hypocritical just like we saw in the flashbacks where Laura and Evelyn were also present.

Hughie stated he didn't care. Alex LIED. And that's the fact.

The 20K was gone either way so if nobody took it the money would be lost so someone may as well take it.

The 5K (per person) wouldn't be taken out of the prize fund if not accepted.

Hughie probably needs to learn how to communicate better what he wants to say but he is no hypocrite. One thing throughtout the series is he has been straight down the line.

Do you watch BB the £20.000 was coming out the prize money if no one pressed the buzzer so it was lost anyway
The £5,000 was not so I think you should retract your statement

Yeah but he wasn't gonna take the 20k, he was gonna share it with everyone

No one going to read my post?

He admitted pressing the button. His row was because Alex LIED. Not because he pressed it.

Hughie didn't care he pressed it. He cared because Alex and Jackson blatantly said they would take NO money to him, Laura and Evelyn.

Hughie was RIGHT.

Alex LIED.

Watch the footage again.

Fair you don't like him but the thread is wrong because Hughie was proven right. Fact.

But I bet people would ignore that.

You're right, that's what happened. Alex's basic logic was flawed anyway, he wouldn't turn for 20k but he'd turn for 5k? Where's the cut-off point, like Evelyn said? Very strange.

That was Hughie too, and the reason he didnt take the 5 grand is because it wasnt enough to share with them all.

The 20k was going to be taken out anyway. The 5k wasn't. So exactly what is hypocritical? I can't imagine Hughie has had a particularly privileged life and I don't suppose he's 100% sure of winning so he turned down a lot of money being offered on a plate...credit where it's due for God's sake.

Correct. Alex was moaning about Jason because of the PRINCIPLE of taking some of the winners prize money. That's exactly what Alex did.

But it wasn't about the money. It was about Alex going back on what he said.

I loved Hughie screaming through the glass at Alex, he couldn't even hold it in until they were in the same room

The funniest thing of the whole episode was when Jane glared at Ryan through the glass!
