What?

Hughie never said it was wrong to press the button? He admitted he pressed for the 20k.

The row stemmed from Alex being hypocritical just like we saw in the flashbacks where Laura and Evelyn were also present.

Hughie stated he didn't care. Alex LIED. And that's the fact.
This. Hughie waß pissed off about the hypocrisy, not the money.

No one going to read my post?

He admitted pressing the button. His row was because Alex LIED. Not because he pressed it.

Hughie didn't care he pressed it. He cared because Alex and Jackson blatantly said they would take NO money to him, Laura and Evelyn.

Hughie was RIGHT.

Alex LIED.

Watch the footage again.
As I said earlier, the fact Hughie was in the right was completely lost because of his delivery. It's never going to happen, but he needs to calm down when he's expressing himself. That's just the way he is. Loud and forceful.

Alex did lie. He never mentioned £20k the night before (not in the flashback we saw anyway) he just said 'money' Not sure why Ryan agreed with the lie either.

Hughie delivered what he said just fine despite his 'boyfriend' jumping in to lie in support of Alex.

One person was loud and forceful, the other was cool, calm and collected. Unfortunately the louder person always comes off looking worse.

Hughie really does try to be calm, but he just isn't made that way.

Alex didn't press the button. Made no attempt to press the button. Didn't want to take the £20,000. We saw that with our own peepers.

Then he took the £5000. We saw that with our own peepers too.

He then stated during his row with Hughie today he wouldn't take £20,000 but he would take £5,000. Which would be backed up by the fact we know he didn't take £20,000 but he did take £5000!!

And yet somehow the issue that he didn't specify the amount yesterday during his conversation after the task, but thought he did, negates everything that's actually transpired and has instead boiled down to him LYING!!

Daftness.

That said. Not a fan. So what the hell. Hope he gets in the bottom 3 and hope Hughie talks them all into evicting him! Ha!

I loved Hughie screaming through the glass at Alex, he couldn't even hold it in until they were in the same room
He winds me up when I watch him, but when I read it back...
