I was indifferent over Hughie. I found his screaming yells rather over the top. but he has calmed down quite well over the weeks. He isn't yelling blue murder any more. I hope this has helped his temper that he obviously had on the outside world.

He sees the finishing line and notices that he has a great chance of winning. No wonder hes settled down.

they are all in it for the Money simple as

I agree.

As much as I believe he is attempting to tone it down in order to win I also believe he is genuinely learning how to control his temper, which is probably the most valuable lesson he will take from his time in the house.

I don't think so. I think that wishful thinking.

I agree with you.

I think people are forgetting this.

People always go on about how he loses his temper but have you seen his first argument compared to last few?

1. Him VS Natalie.... SHUT UP!!1 (Screaming so loud it was heard in the Main House). And his DR Entry.
2. Him vs Jackson/Alex, "who the F are you!!"
3. Fishbowl Argument.
4. Pool Party Row
5. Last nights disagreement with Alex.

Watch them all back. And as time goes on he has calmed down a LOT.

Hughbert has left the building.

And now Hughie seems more likely to talk it out than have a massive blow-up. After the Jackson laughing incident, he had the heart to heart with Ryan and seemed to genuinely want to change his behaviour.

I think he still enjoys a good bit of an argument, but he's managed turned it into fun banter, like the Rod Stewart bickering with Ryan, and rein in the fury. Good for Hughie!

He realised certain housemates (Alex) have been trying to goad him into arguing.

Agree. I'm just thinking at his 2 big arguments in the Other house, and he went fully in! Now, he's much calmer.

He definitely has learnt some self control during his time in the BB house.

He's very young and quite naive and from a background where's he has almost certainly been looked down on. Cut the kid some slack. He has definitely tried to tone it down.

To be honest I don't think any of them, even those I don't like, can gameplay all the time. I'm sure they do forget the cameras at times and just 'live'. Not every action you see is calculated.

Well, he's had the confidence to enter the British BB house, not sure how lacking in confidence he would be. Moreover, he's not a kid and I'm actually getting a tad tired of his background being used as an excuse for his unreasonable behaviour.

p.s. I don't mind Hughie.

I don't think he's been that unreasonable tbh and his background would surely be a reason for defensive behaviour...a reason, not an excuse.

And I didn't say he lacked confidence.

I think he is halerious. I love the screaming I would rather laugh at that then watch that boring dull Alex

He is what Andy thinks he is, but isn't. Straight-forward, will say anything to your face.
But

His mum told him to calm down he's so desperate to win he will do anything, he's also very camera aware being sure to refer to them before Hugo appears.

Yeah, I'm starting to like Hughie more. I wish he'd dump Ryan though. The number of times that Ryan has turned on Hughie when others have started mouthing on to Hughie. Poor Hughie can't see how bad Ryan is for him.

I like both sides of hughie, he's the only one I like to win.

Less frustration. Possibly due to no Natalie and belonging to the strong group in the house.

Yeah, and we're left with a sour-faced clone. Where did Hughie go?

Honestly, I loved him way back and would still have a soft spot for him but really, thinking about it, i think he'll win but he would be a pretty disappointing winner for me.

All he does is cuddle or moan...... on and on......at people. He's got dull. I think he has been for awhile.

He's overrated and I think maintains a loyal fan base based on those, admittedly hilarious, early rants.

He's lucky because it's been downhill since and now he's just dour.

Eta: actually, maybe that's not fair. It's annihilation wk, maybe it's that, so I can overlook a bit of mardiness.

He has calmed down, but it calls into question whether he blew up for attention in the first place. Or he sees the finishing line and is just biting his tongue more and more.

There's no way he's learned to calm down to this extent, if Helen couldn't this clown can't either.
