Yep and I think they know they will have loads of people staying I'm leaving , but I wonder what % actually go through with it?
I suspect a fairly large number will stay loyal. Has the original poster left Three? I camt work out where he is at? Surly he should have just moved network if they don't value his custom. |

I'm happy with Three. Earlier this year when I switched to SIM-only from the One Plan when my iPhone contract finished I was offered 30GB plus unlimited texts & calls for £20/month unprompted so didn't need to haggle or threaten to leave.

OP here, I've stayed put for now. Didn't get what I would've liked, life moves on and I had my rant. As I've said before, all it would've taken was a little transparency that I wasn't spending enough with them for there to be much room for negotiation; instead of repeatedly telling me about cheaper deals without features I want a was an actual "loyalty deal". That didn't happen, hence rant.
I've got my opinion. Thine Wonk has his. I know I'm not "entitled" to anything and of course I have the option to vote with my wallet. ![]() I'll shop around and move my custom as soon as I find something that suits my needs at a price I would consider to be good value. Three aren't price gouging me, but my rant was never about that. Their Feel at Home feature was extensively used last weekend, and served as a timely reminder why I did want that particular service - I had to rely on it extensively without racking up an enormous data roaming bill (or through paid addons) when my flight was cancelled and the option was either to be delayed 48hrs or find an alternative flight by searching on my smartphone. |
