And of course, none of the voters in the majority vote will have voted yes because they fancy Jackson or Alex. I wonder what the results would have been had Andy been one of those who had chosen to take the money?

Nothing of the sort.DS is completely out of touch with public opinion.

Exactly, they knew that the choice to take £5k had no consquence whereas the housemates - as Laura told BB in the DR afterwards - did not have that info.
if they knew for sure it wouldn't result in eviction or being up for noms, etc. I'm sure many more would've taken it. after all, many who ddin't take £5k did try and take £20k (jason, hughie, laura)
I'd have taken the 5k (sod the other housemates) but I wouldn't have complained about someone nabbing the 20k and voting someone out the day before. Therefore being put in the same boat as Alex, Jackson and Ryan feels rather inaccurate.
DS cannot be completely out of touch with public opinion, considering that we are a subset of the general public. Nor should people who use Tw*tter be considered a barometer of public opinion. Or the bookies. In case it isn't obvious, not everybody uses DS, not everybody uses Tw*tter, not everybody uses Facebook and not everybody votes.
