I have to tape the show at least for 5 mins before I watch it just so I can fast forward him if he comes on in the diary room, the most irritating and embarrassing HM for a few years.

Oh I did

Amazing the effect a single, bare, freckled shoulder on an otherwise demurely dressed young lady has on some men

I'm pretty sure Jacko was going for something similar.....

Pedant alert!

Strictly speaking, it's not street talk. It's Jamaican Patois and many people (mostly born and raised in Jamaica) naturally speak in this way. What winds me up about Jackson is that he appears to put it on; it is so cringeworthy

My parents have a different accent from me and I only use their accent when I'm taking the p**s, never seriously.

All these posts are so good. I was so irritated I screamed at the TV.
I realise I am being petty but I can't stand it when he says " lickle" either.
How old is he? Three!
Love patois when it is true but not him.

I have to agree with you, it makes me cringe when I hear it being said.
It's also only ever said by English people.

You're doing better than me then! I can't stand the fake little pillock and agree with everything else you've said.
