Forgot gemma was unconscious when kylie got stabbed with only craig as witness. I don't think luke got a good look at clayton so more than likely it will come down craig's testimony. I think eventually he'll tell the police even it if it means going against his mum who doesn't want him to.

Take another look, if you will ... Clayton backed away from the wounded Kylie before running off, but Craig was standing right behind him in the shop doorway and we could see clearly that he had witnessed the attack.

The biggest con trick ever played by criminals on normal people. But does it apply when you yourself has been injured?

Also, I would have thought not grassing applied mainly to petty theft and such, not when someone murders your best friend. I would live in constant fear if I didn't do everything to get him arrested and convicted.

It's possible ; I must confess that, these days, my sole contact with the idea is in fiction. It was something I heard constantly as a child and teenager, but that was a long time ago. Plus I think that then the word was "snitch", not "grass".

Is Craig not the only person who saw the stabbing? Gemma was knocked out so that makes Craig the key witness.

Chesney has seen him too, so unless Clayton's suddenly emigrated it should only be a matter of days before he's in custody.

What concerns me is that the cover of one of the soap mags in the newsagents I saw this morning proclaims 'David seeks revenge!'. What can he possibly do other than get to Clayton before the police find him?”

Got me wondering if Gemma being knocked out is part of a bigger story now.

The only one who knows Clayton (properly) was unconscious and didn't see the stabbing itself.

The Kebab shop does have CCTV, but of course it was probably conveniently broken at the time of the incident. You'd think in a street with such a high crime rate and murders going around they'd work on their surveillance, but then I guess we wouldn't have a plot.

The only time CCTV was ever in working order was when Phelan got footage of Gary attacking him to use as part of his blackmail plot.

I was replying to the quoted post that said even if Craig didn't testify that Gemma and Chesney could ID him. That was the they I was talking about.

It's terribly selfish of Beth to try and stop him.. if he kills someone else then that's her fault.
