She said during her interview that the reason she didn't press the button to get the 20K is because she didn't think it was right to take the money out of the prize fund. lol.

Interpreted as "I thought I was the obvious winner, so therefore wanted ALL of the money for myself".

Pleased she's gone. Her sense of entitlement (because she is a single mother) is astounding.

But BB wouldn't have put the money back into the Prize Fund if none of them had pressed the buzzers. Someone had to take it, to then be able to choose another HM to be evicted. It was the way the Twist worked, and surely Lateysha had known that!

I'm afraid she's way to dim to think that deeply - she assumed she had the show in the bag

Well if she had gone on to win she would still have had it all for herself, just like Jason might do.

She's a bit thick and didn't figure it out?

And she wanted to be seen as 'nice' in order to win?

Yeah she didn't want to look bad to the public. She was lying.

Are we meant to have some sort of special affection for women having babies outside of stable relationships and see it as some achievement?

This seems to be the trend in this country for some time now.

Of course there are circumstances where women do end up as single mothers and do a sterling job to raise their kids.

This does not apply to Lateysha and it is despicable that she would choose to bring a child into the world with no father around to support the child so good she is out.

I do not like her at all.

By pressing the button she would've jeopardised her chances of winning. She wanted to keep up the facade of being a "nice person".

Well she didn't come across as being very nice. In fact I found her very sly .... the very same trait she accused Andy of being and a massive game player, which she accused Jason of being. Another one brilliant at projection.

I agree. How many times did we hear her say she was a "nice person"? I wonder if she realises that saying it often doesn't necessarily mean it's true.

I can't stand her and i'm glad she's out. Her sense of entitlement is astounding.

She acknowledges that she knew that, but said that in her head it still meant taking from the winner, even though she knew it didn't mean that.

So basically the confused woman was angry about people for doing something she was choosing to believe meant something else even though she knew it didn't.

If Jason does win she will doubtless be celebrating. Because then all the money went to him, the winner, which is what she wanted.

Well there's an amusing irony here because in not attempting to press the button it came across that she thought she had it in the bag. The audience saw that she could afford not to press it because she wasn't fighting for her place and wasn't in any danger of being evicted in her view and so she had the opportunity to appear nice.

She may have not pressed the button in order to assist in her campaign to win but it was her downfall in more ways than one

Real reasons people didn't press the button:
1) They were too slow
2) They think they have a chance of winning the show
3) They were too scared
4) They didn't want to evict someone because it might impact upon their imagined A-List celebrity career that people are queuing up to offer them after they leave the house

Not a reason anyone didn't press the button:
They thought the winner should have the full amount (a) BB already said this money was out of the winner's pot and b)... unless they were the winner of course... )

Can't argue with any of that!

I'm wondering if she was offered CBB but her fee was maybe too low so opted to go into BB thinking she would win the 100k thinking she had all her Twitter followers etc she had it in the bag
