Bloody ell a bit too deep for me that one!!

I did think i wouldn't have minded giving her a hand to dab it off though, she seemed to be having some difficulty......

She was eating a jam tart or something in the Rovers and it fell onto her top leaving a biggish stain.

There did seem to be some sort of subliminal message there alright, as I can't see any other reason for the scene.

At a pinch I would guess at least another half dozen or so.

I'll never forget the forum spamming after Eastenders 30th. Threads literally kept popping up every minute. All on the same topic.

It's hard to keep track of discussion when there's too many similar threads

This is Coronation Street, not The Omen!

I would have said the more ironic point was that earlier Kylie had refused a doughnut saying she didn't want to risk the jam staining her top.

Joking aside that's exactly what it was about Dave!! Kylie & David gave each other a 'knowing' look when it happened!!
It was just a little throwaway scene of everyday life before all the high drama!!

Those scenes in the Salon with everyone ribbing Audrey about her date with Freddy were just a nice little distraction to show it was just another day at that stage!!
I actually think the whole episides last night, barring the painfully acted Kate/Caz scene were built up & executed just about to perfection for once!!

Yep, perfect case of dramatic irony, the writers did well.

What I thought was rather in dubious taste (probably been mentioned several times elsewhere) was Alexsandr Orlov dancing around on t'cobbles at the end of the first episode, on pretty much the spot we'd just seen Kylie breathe her last! I thought, "Have some respect"...

It was good with the Cadbury's sponsorship bumpers back in the day, because whenever there was a "serious"-toned episode they always used an unbranded, generic Cadbury's bumper, for minimum frivolity.

I do like the meerkats though

So do I.

Al least they didn't have the one with the Zombie meerkat saying "Zombie".

She has some very nice doughnuts, I wouldn't mind a taste of them.

Doesn't Maria live above the salon? If I'd split something on my top I'd have nipped up and changed, not carried on working and gone to the pub afterwards.

Yes, I saw this but failed to notice Maria's jam dropping. I think I need to focus more on the TV instead of the multiple tabs I have open on my laptop.

Didn't notice this at the time, but now it's been mentioned it seems obvious! That was well played by the Corrie team.
Purple.
