Ahhh, you must try and understand sutie, I, at no time, have ever set out to impress you. Can't imagine where you got that idea

There's not really anything about being in a game that means game-playing (in the pejorative sense of the phrase) is ok.

It should make sense if you just pretend that the idiom "playing a game" doesn't have the word "game" in it (since it's just an accident of English-language idiom that it does use "game") or that the same idea was expressed instead by saying the HM was being manipulative, deceitful, sly, whatever.

What's so great about the way he's playing it?

His reason for eliminating Lateysha seemed to be that he thought she was best placed to win, but if she was so popular, eliminating her would be a poor move (if you wanted to win) because her supporters would then have it in for you.

It may look like a great move from the POV of this forum because she isn't popular here but was strongly placed in the house so we might otherwise not have got rid of her. But Jason doesn't know what we think of Lateysha, and most viewers may disagree with us.

Then I'm happy to report that you've succeeded.

Lateysha thought she was the master game player (not that she would openly admit it) and Jason ousted her (and her lickspittle toady). Well played, that man!

But Jason likely recognized that she was the "Queen Bee". I think he did. So massive credit to him for "knocking over all the dominoes" and forcing the house dynamics to reorganize itself. That's how the game should be played. And all that DESPITE knowing he would become the target. I'm no great fan of Jason but credit to him -- his move will go down in BB history as one of the great moments.

They do indeed. They went from hysterical, despondency when Lateysha was voted out, to 'Anyone want any toast?' ten minutes later.

It's a bit of a waste if a hm only contributes a week from the end though.

Big brother is a game, they are all playing . Jason is playing better than the others.

If memory serves, Charlie's (and by extension, Lateysha's) accusation of game playing was basically saying that he had changed his personality in the BB house. As far as I can see Jason had been defending himself against that accusation, and I don't feel like his personality has changed at all in the house ( the same can hardly be said for other HMs!)

His game playing, especially in the last week, is exactly how the BB game should be played, so hats off to him for that!

He is a playing a game and I have said that from the start but so what? It IS a game and Jason has played it brilliantly. His reason for evicting Ryan were nothing but the truth and he can give whatever reasons he likes so good for him. Not worried about the aftermath his decisions cause and has the guts to stand by his convictions. JASON FOR THE WIN
