THIS Is The 'Game Playing' I Don't Like

Jackson voted Laura for eviction. Laura approached Jackson afterwards to discuss it and Jackson had an evil grin on his face as though he was enjoying the power. Laura asked if this will be the end of it (Jackson voting and nominating her), and he said it depends. Is this a kind of pact?

Sounds like it to me. Also sounds like "talking about nomination" rule break---but a very sneaky one.

It seems a lot more sinister than a usual rule break to me. It's like he's trying to control her with the threat of a nomination or vote. It's the evil grin on his face as he's doing it. Yet Jason is an evil game player for being one of the majority who voted Ryan?

When she said 'this is the end of it' she meant, in my opinion, the discussion about it. On Live Feed it seemed that Jackson - after voting for her in the eviction - had apparently intimated or asked her not to nominate her in response to his vote. She was pretty angry about that (not sure why BB didn't show this) and that's what she was talking about.

I'm no fan of Jackson, but I don't see what else he could have said. He was just trying to avoid 'nominations talk', surely?

I just think he looked indifferent, you could tell he doesn't really like the girl and didn't care about het whingeing at him.

Really? And when he said "well that depends," he meant that he might want to discuss it further? Not buying it.

You mean "asked her not to nominate HIM in response to his vote" for her, don't you? This is a rule break.

She did go into the store room afterwards and call him a t#at so hopefully she nominates Jackson (and Alex). I really don't see how Jackson and Alex were closer to Ryan. Sure they spent time in The Other house with him but they also argued with him there (cigarette argument). I don't think they ever argued with Laura. I guess it may go back to the Laura/Evelyn/Emma pact of not nominating each other. But I am sure Jackson and Alex have a similar pact.

If she was trying to get him to promise not to keep nominating or voting for her, he could have said they can't discuss it. He may not have broken the rules, but it's still a sly, manipulative and unpleasant way of controlling Laura to avoid receiving nominations or votes from her.

It may be that targeting Laura was the easy option because she got the most boo's from the crowd AND that ONLY Evelyn would have given them a bit of stick if she'd been evicted?

Hmm, good points and if so then that was very cowardly of them to do so. Not surprised. The only brave ones imo are Andy, Jason, and Jane (Evelyn of course wanted her friend/ally to stay). I will be really disappointed with Laura and Evelyn if they don't nominate Jackson and Alex (both took 5,000 out of the prize fund and both picked her for eviction despite getting along with her and her not being a threat to them).

I will be even more disappointed if they pick Jason since he didn't pick the easy option of Laura (only backlash would have been Evelyn).

Jackson's been nominating them and voting for them to be evicted for a long while. The penny will never drop. So frustrating.

Yep nom talk again.

Laura is one that says you can't take anything personally if someone nominates you or slates you, yet she is the first to have an issue if someone nominates her. She queried it with Alex, Hughie and Jackson why they chose her over Ryan or Sam yet if it had been the other way round, she'd probably just say it's part of the process.

She's slagged off Jackson herself and nominated him last week so I don't know why she has a problem with him voting for her to go.

Jackson has never nominated Laura or Evelyn in a normal round of evictions. He targeted Jayne in the second annihilation task and said he would have evicted Jayne in the third one. The only time he has voted for Laura when he had the whole house to choose from, from memory, was in the first annihilation task.

Housemates rarely get punished unless they actually use the word "nomination".

I've seen nearly all the housemates so far this series clearly talking about noms, but because they haven't actually used the word, no punishments have resulted.
