He's getting a lot of dislike here, which can only mean that he is favourite. Every fave to win gets slaughtered on here for the last week.

Hughie to win. I couldn't stand Ryan and glad he's gone and hoping he can pull this off.

I like Jason, Andy, Jayne and Evelyn too.

he needs to lose his temper a bi more though

I think he probably will. I don't mind him winning, I don't care who wins actually, it's more about the story along the way for me and the more interesting housemates staying in longer.

I have liked Hughie, thought he made a good housemate but my support, such as it is, went when he attached himself to the risible Ryan and that could apply to other viewers too. Still, there's still time for him to shake off the association in some peoples minds and remind us what we liked about him in the first place.

Yes... Hughie for the win!

Hughie has fallen down my like list but I still like him and would be ok with him winning but I prefer Jason, Andy and Jayne. I don't like how Hughie lies but almost all humans lie (obviously not one who are in comas or down's syndrome or other type situations, hence the disclaimer of "almost all humans").

He seems to be dealing with his anger better. He didn't get all shouty with Jason (in the DR but that is where they are supposed to vent) so I think he has shown some growth in holding back his anger (less aggressive) and he listened to Jason's explanations even if he disagreed and lied about it at least he listened. I don't fault him for his lies and hypocrisy since almost all humans lie and are hypocrites. Hughie has been entertaining (except with Ryan) and is showing signs of dealing with confrontation/anger in a more rational manner. I hope I didn't speak to soon. Despite all his human flaws, I can't help but like him. I think he is charismatic. I do wish he would stop looking at the cameras but at least lately he hasn't been mentioning them (major pet peeve of mine when he uses it in arguments).

I'd prefer him to win rather than Jackson or Sam and probably even Alex and Laura. If Evelyn continues with her Alex storyline then I would prefer Hughie over Evelyn but I did love her calling out Jackson on his BS.

A final with Andy, Jason, Jane, Hughie, Evelyn and one other (?) would be great. I do think there is a lot of fan overlap with Andy & Jason and Andy & Hughie. I do think the overlap is greater with Andy and Jason so that would split the vote and Hughie would likely win. However there is still a bit of BB left and opinions on everyone can change so it is probably to early to make guesses. I wonder if there is much overlap in the Jackson/Alex fan base.

I think this BB is Hughie's to lose. However with Ryan gone I think he will get better since imo Ryan/Lateysha brought out the worst in Hughie.

Yes hughie ftw, he's the only entertaining/decent one left.

I do like jayne too but she hasn't contributed enough.

I use to like Jackson but he's lost it.

No. He's awful.

IMO a winner is someone who shows us multiple sides of their personality. Not someone who is perfect because.... who's actually perfect?

If he does that, people will call him a bully, as that's the only word that word people know around these places.

It's used to address those merely that they don't like.

I didn't like his rant about Jason tonight in the diary room. He never seems to remember anything. Bb showed us the clip. So Ryan did say what Jason said he did. Is Hughie really that oblivious with a bad memory. Or is he selective...

Made me laugh though when he said he told Jason to Fu** off... Nah you didn't pinnocchio

I disagree. He has lost his temper numerous times but was only a bully the way he followed Andy around repeating the same insults to him. I don't think he bullied Jackson back in the cigarette argument and that was before I disliked Jackson.
However, I think Hughie is improving/growing/learning and I like that he didn't get all shouty with Jason. Maybe it was just because it was Jason and he was scared but I would like to think that Hughie is actually learning to control his temper which would be a good thing. He could have handled it with Jason better but it also could have been much worse so I will say it may be signs of personal growth...IDK

People are always going on about how he always shouts... but yeah, he's been very calm the last few "arguments".

Watch him in the Others house and now, he's calmed down a lot!

I just think he has the habit of trying to get his point across in a loud, repetitive way, I'm like that but its cause I'm from a big family. If you don't shout you don't get heard.

I think he believes he was just telling him how he feels being honest, but Andy kept trying to end the discussion before he'd finished so he was like a dog with a bone.

It certainly wasn't bullying though.

Andy has enough to say and usually its more analytic and negative.

I do respect him for keeping his cool with Jason, he's improving. It takes a big person to shake the hand of someone you are currently very angry with.

i can understand why people may place a bet on him, but to me he is indisputably an argumentative gimp of transcendental magnitude.

I think it will help him being around people who aren't OTT and will not argue/shout back. The current HMs seem more like the type to deescalate the situation rather than just shout back and feed into the anger. He won't have Ryan and Lateysha reinforcing (subversively) his propensity to argue. I think having them out of the house will ultimately help Hughie grow to be a better or more mature man. Andy, Jason, Laura, Evelyn, and the rest seem to want to talk things out. Of course, throw in some booze and it may all go wrong but maybe not with this group.

The DR is for venting so I don't blame him for getting shouty or angry in there...that is supposed to be an appropriate place to let your feelings out. I don't think bad of any of them (Andy, Jason, Hughie, etc) for getting shouty, bitchy, paranoid, etc in the DR. That should be a safe haven or a place to talk out your feelings and what you are thinking/worrying about, etc...imo.

I've been rooting for Hughie all along, but he's losing his appeal somehow

Maybe it's his association with the awful Ryan ... I'm finding it difficult to support someone who thinks that little **** is a great guy

He is a bully.

He tries to intimidate people into not disagreeing with him, by shouting them down whenever they do.

I guess arguing with someone means your a bully now.

Wow, I had a argument with a friend last night, was I a bully? You must be a bully too, I'm sure you have had an argument with someone in your life.

Have we really come to the point now that whenever someone you don't like argues with someone else, they are a bully? That's embarrassing.

Hopefully he just moves on and gets to know the other HMs now Ryan's gone.

Hughie has been given a lot of flack on here for weeks, not just the last week

But it's more hostile this last week.

It's the standard "This person is favourite, so DS will attack him" thing. I expect it every single series

When Hughie was following around Andy repeating the same thing "you're a liar & story carrier" over and over again, it was on the verge of bullying. Even Ryan told Hughie to stop, but he still followed Andy into the house and said the exact same thing.
