ipod taking up space
Hi all,
I got an ipod for christmas (one of the standard 20g ones), and I have now half filled it with all my music collection and other bits and pieces. Unfortuneately, this doesnt just take up 10G on the ipod, it takes up that amount of space on my computer as well. As this is also the computer I run my business on, I'm starting to need that space. Is there any way I can remove all the stuff from iTunes on my computer without it being removed the next time I plug in my ipod? Or am I going to have to buy some more memory for my pc? |

You don't need more memory, you may need another hard disk though to store files on and what not...
You can delete the music from your hard disk and it will stay on the ipod, but as soon as you delete the music from your itunes music library it will be deleted from the ipod next time you update the ipod. Then it will be well and truly gone, but only when you delete it from the itunes music library... |

You can choose to manually sync your iPod. Look at this site to find out how:
