Anyone pleasantly surprised by the actual Friday Top 6/B3 result?

I'm very content with how it went down to be fair.

I'm very surprised that both Jayne (and older woman which normally have trouble gaining a fanbase) and Evelyn (a fit woman) ended up getting MORE votes than Ryan... a housemate which usually is very popular in a VTS.

Jayne has survived in both a VTE and a VTS. The only thing I would have changed was swap Laura and Alex over. But i actually believe that Alex was the one who just escaped the B3, whether Emma lied about "1.5% between Bottom 4", I do feel Evelyn and Jayne polled more votes than him.

To be honest I would have been happy for them all to go except Jason, Andy & Jane. I know Jason is dividing opinions but he has stood up to the mean girls/boys, Andy I like but not sure what he is doing in BB and Jane has gradually grown on me. The rest of them not worth mentioning

Same.

The line up was what I had been hoping for (bar Jackson, but that's a dream).

In fact, bar Chelsea, I've been really pleased by the evictions this year

I was disappointed (but not surprised) that Laura didn't get top 6 over Alex or Jackson.... But pretty much fine with the rest of it

I was hoping Alex was gonna be bottom 3, even though they would have saved the oddball.

Sam was really freaked out about it all, I'm sure he thought he was a winner judging by his reaction the the whole scenario.

I am surprised Laura didn't pick up more public votes. I actually think she is really nice and kind as a person, unless I'm missing something.

My ideal B3 would have been Alex, Jackson and Sam. I absolutely cannot stand Alex and Jackson.

I would rather it had been Alex than Laura, but those who vote are very unforgiving regarding females and often taken with a hunky man. It is what it is.

All-in-all though, yes I was very pleased and pleasantly surprised with regard to Jason and Jayne

It was fair because the public voted their positions.

It was also fair that the HMs got their say on who to evict.

Win win as far as I am concerned.

Yes and I just hope they keep the VTS for the next eviction.

I don't think they will. I think they just used it because they can't ask people to vote to evict if they then have the housemates choose the evictee, that'd be somewhat illegal I imagine. Voting to save got around that problem and they still got income from the vote calls.

& I'm happy with the result, thank you Andy, Evelyn, Jason & Jayne

They should, but they won't Odd because I don't know why they would want to lose Jason, Andy or Hughie.

Surely they want to lose Sam. Surely!?

Sam would stay in vote to evict, a perfect example of why it doesn't work.

I was very happy with the bottom 3. Had Alex been there instead of Laura I would have been equally happy.

I liked Laura until Friday's HLs. She came off as a bit of a cow so I ended up not at all disappointed that she was there.

She didn't deserve those boos though. I hate that crowd - Laura, Evelyn and Jason get boos but Jackson gets a massive cheers? Weirdos.

Pleased for Jayne. Relieved for Jason.

Exactly. They had to do VTS in that instance.

I completely agree.

Watching back Emma reading the numbers, Jackson and Alex got a few boos I recall which i was surprised about.

It was only Hughie that got pretty much all cheers, and Ryan was close (don't know why), Jayne was mixed, Evelyn, Laura, Sam and Jason booed...

As for what the HMs heard, because they were in the garden, you couldn't hear much (apart from when Laura was getting chosen), but you can faintly hear the reaction for Alex with cheers and a few boos. Jackson mostly cheers, and the Hms heard the massive cheers for Hughie as Jackson pointed into the air to say "listen to that reaction".

I couldn't hear the reaction for Jayne though because she was screaming "Thanks Mum!"

Ah ok, thanks. I heard Alex got a few boos but I thought Jackson got a really good reception.

Although tbf I possibly didn't hear very well over my own hollering at him. That stupid jacket. That stupid jumping and yelping, punching the air. I tend to get distracted by his ridiculousness.

Not going to to happen as they wouldn't want the "wrong" HMs to be in danger of going

But that's odd, they'd think that Alex or Sam is a "wrong" one to go, over Hughie, Jason and Andy?

Them three are more at risk in a VTE, and I have no idea why they'd sacrifice those three for them two.

If they do have the VTE which I am sure they will, then C5 are asking for a dull winner. Alex will win.

Agree more or less with what has been said, Alex instead of Laura. I note that no one thinks Jackson would have been among the bottom three, think that myself too It seems he is going on [possibly?] to win. I certainly will be voting for the first time in many years to try to get Jason on the winner's podium...

To be honest, I don't like Jackson most of the time but have liked him at times. I wouldn't be objecting if he won because he's been in the game, he's been a 'relevant' housemate and hasn't just sailed through the show.

The winner doesn't have to be somebody I like (although I'd prefer that, obviously ) just somebody who's been involved. That includes most housemates except Sam and Alex really - who I don't dislike (Sam's grown on me recently) but they just haven't done enough to warrant winning.

This is the first year I haven't wanted someone to win because I like them - which is just as well because I don't really like any of them that much.

I've swung all roads on who I've wanted to win over the course of this series but it's always been by default - because it would shock X or because they've been treated appallingly or they've done more - not because I like them, which is unusual for me.

At one point I liked Evelyn, Andy, Jason and Jane MUCH more than Jackson but would have preferred to see Jackson win because he's entertained me more but I've changed my mind again. He's a sly wee twunt, I'd hate to see him win now.

I just...I really want/need Jackson to go...forever...he's literally one of the most annoying people I have ever had appear on my TV. Everything about him. He's awful. Fake gangster, fake sweetheart, fake lickle boy lost, fake love-bird, fake hardman, fake underdog.

He's a ****.

I don't want to see him win either, I just wouldn't be angry if he does because at least he's been in it. He's not my choice by a long stretch, but I'd hate for Sam or Alex to win and out of Jackson, Sam and Alex for example, Jackson would be the one I would say deserved to win because at least he's been there!
