I think they only brought Davro in as Shane Richie worked out so well. The producers must have thought with them both having similar light entertainment backgrounds Davro was bound to be as successful as Shane was. Vinnie was a Poundland Alfie Moon

Oh my god Adam Best was awful. If you are going to bring in a disabled character at least make sure the actor portraying them can act. At least Donna is a decent actor
I'd like to add Shirley whatserface from a few years ago. The one with the cat.
Poppy I think her name was, she was kind of like a mini-Honey. I think she went out with Fatboy. I remember her having a long rambling conversation in the Vic which the producers had to slot in to fill a 5 minute gap they were left with when they scrapped a lot of the baby swap storyline.

They pretty much ruined Kat with that storyline but pretty deftly rescued it in the Kat Convent episode where she said he was disgusting but she felt compelled somehow because he was like Harry. Very nicely written.

Kat going with Derek seemed just so unlikely so I was really disappointed when it was revealed to be him but it did create great scenes with Alfie chucking Kat out of the Vic and then screaming at everyone else to 'get out of my pub' and then breaking down in Roxy's arms.

Never realised the actress who played Faith later on played Blessing Chambers in Hollyoaks! Also Ellen Thomas (Claudette) played Grace Olubunmi
Becca was the one who Stacey met at the hospital after she was admitted. She left after she threw Bradley's ashes over Stacey.

Yes it was brilliant how they brought that whole storyline back up when you'd think they'd try their hardest to forget it existed. It does make sense that Kat would see it in that way as Derek and Harry were quite similar. For all her faults, Lorraine Newman did repair Kat to an extent, having her stopping Whitney from being exploited again and having a good friendship with Bianca.
