I think they only brought Davro in as Shane Richie worked out so well. The producers must have thought with them both having similar light entertainment backgrounds Davro was bound to be as successful as Shane was. Vinnie was a Poundland Alfie Moon

Oh my god Adam Best was awful. If you are going to bring in a disabled character at least make sure the actor portraying them can act. At least Donna is a decent actor
I'd like to add Shirley whatserface from a few years ago. The one with the cat.
Poppy I think her name was, she was kind of like a mini-Honey. I think she went out with Fatboy. I remember her having a long rambling conversation in the Vic which the producers had to slot in to fill a 5 minute gap they were left with when they scrapped a lot of the baby swap storyline.
