Is it just me, or does Jason speak down to women?

The way he speaks to Laura and Evelyn in particular makes me uncomfortable, like when he told Evelyn to 'shut up.' Didn't come across as jokey at all - and the fact that he nominated Laura for her overly sexual behavior and then pretended to champion women by going into the diary room to apologize was so smug and fake. he didn't even care that he wasn't allowed to change the nom, just wanted to get in his little bit of public relations. yawn. the whole 'boys vs girls' strategy he tried to get going is also misogynistic and childish.

The maid of orleans is a smug little boy. he's going to spend that 20k on drink and prostitutes, mark my words.

Your words are of little substance and incredibly dull. Jason can spend the money he won as he sees fit... however good luck with your little witch hunt.

You know he is going to win and it's eating at ya.

sigh....another disgruntled fan of Dumbo and her Oompaloompa....and yes it is just you.

Doesn't he speak to everyone the same way

As for the examples provided, telling Evelyne to shut up was a blessing to us all and have you heard Ryan and Hughie telling each other to shut up none stop, are they sexist / homophobic Regarding the attempt to change his nomination of Laura I agree that was a public relations exercise but as much to try to win and come across as thoughtful as any sexist move. He does seem to be a bit of a prude or be trying to come across as a bit of prude. However I don't see him as any more sexist than Jackson or Alex who have shown disrespect and sexism where the females are concerned but they are young so get a pass I assume

What on earth has Joan of Arc got to do with BB?

What a nasty imagination you have.

Regarding your comments about Laura - I'm not surprised at Jason not respecting her as she obviously does not respect herself, given her display with a bloke 10 years her junior and who she had only met 48 hours before.

Besides how many times did she vote for him last week, my she really does dislike him.

It's just you OP!

Jason always speaks to everyone with respect. The "shut up" to Evelyn was quiet and not angry in the least, and, as others have said, it was more like a slight reprimand a father would give to his daughter.

You seem determined to read into everything he says and does in a bad way. You are definitely reaching with this accusation.

I don't think he speaks down to women. i think he is just a bitter old man who knows his Aston martin, money, sharp suits and trying to look and act young isn't going to get the young women interested in him anymore so he has to have a go at them over the slightest thing to make himself feel better.

I'm sure there are a lot of younger women who would like to be treated with respect by a gentleman like Jason.
Charlie is regretting that she didn't appreciate him !!

How envious you are of someone who has something of himself.

I hate it when he says, our Jayney or our Laura, as though saying that softens the blow somehow

Oops I was talking about Jackson.

He goes to strip clubs. He met Charlie when she did a lap dance for him.

I think blokes who go to those places (especially in their forties) are misogynistic.

He's suddenly got sexual morals in the house, which is a bit hypocritical of him.

Are you speaking for yourself?? He may have done something for himself but he comes across as unhappy and bitter. If Charlie treated him badly he needs to deal and get over it not take it out on other women.

Jason was beginning to question his own virtue on last nights show, thankfully his supporters have no such doubts.

Bingo!

I'm amazed that the gaping chasim between outside Jason and inside Jason hasn't been picked up by more people.

There's a difference between places people go to be "entertained" in that way,and pay for it, and national tv with family and friends watching.
