Kyle didn't lure him. Sarah did. Kylie knew nothing of him being there until she walked in on Callum trying to strangle Sarah.

Oh, and before you make another wrong assumption about me, I didn't go to university until I was 27, not straight out of school at 18. I decided to experience life before finally deciding what I wanted to do. I was 29 when I worked for the barrister.

I assume that, if it got that far, they would give evidence that she was saving Sarah's life. If they didn't then the defence lawyer wouldn't be doing his job. Then if I and many others on here were on the jury, we would find her not guilty. Wouldn't be worth the CPS risking that.”

Ah well, case closed.

There is no point in debating how Kylie would be treated realistically, as the Corrie writers only do what they want to suit the storyline. We had nonsense years ago when the police found a rolling pin at the holiday cabin that Gail and Joe stayed at, and instantly concluded she used it to kill Joe, without doing any sort of forensics. And of course the genius police believing Fiz killed Charlotte Hoyle, even though at the time of her murder and the tram crash she was going into labour and giving birth.

I'm not going back to read the links I posted a while ago, but If I remember correctly self-defence (which includes defence of others) is a justification, not a defence. In other words, it's a killing, but neither murder no manslaughter.

Unfortunately in this instance, not calling the police immediately, hiding the body etc., would make it difficult to support that claim.

Except that you're only supposed to use "reasonable force" to defend yourself. Stabbing an unarmed woman with a knife doesn't fall into that category.

I think it was just Craig and Gemma at the kebab shop because Ches later said that he'd gone home to Skype Joseph or something.

Yes it is a crime if premeditated and even if it isn't you could still be found guilty of a range of other charges
