I don't remember it as bad other years. I feel really sorry for them going out to that!
I haven't watched it for a couple of years but there used to be someone in the crowd who supported an evicted no matter who it was.

It's an absolute disgrace. Do you think the crowd are encouraged to boo like that?

I mean, people keep going on about the lack of normal people in Big Brother and I'm sure it's mostly because BB just get 95% of them from agencies now but quite a few are probably put off applying because of the booing mob, who for some reason, the housemates always think are totally in tune with the majority of viewers.
On Friday, Jason got the most boos, despite being one of the favourites while eventual evictee, Ryan, got a mixed response, despite being unpopular in most polls.
The best one was Winston, two years ago, who got massive cheers, just before being kicked out.

It is extremely tiresome now watching the housemates constantly yabber on about cheers and booes.
Its so pointless as at times the crowd can be completely out of sync with public opinion.
I personally don't think the housemates should ever get to hear the crowd till their eviction. Davina used to go into the studio to announce evictees, there's no reason why Emma can't do this as well.

I hope not, Laura was right with what she said! The crowds are nothing more than morons and chavs, they are totally disgusting in their behaviour!

The crowd are encourage to boo or cheer as loud as possible , I've been four times before and it winds me up so much listening to the crowd boo almost everyone! Last time I had some dude screaming down my ear to Megan McKenna calling her a s**g!

Yes, the first week, time to move on as she's shown her remorse for that and done amazing in all the tasks and been a good housemate, more than can be said for most of the bores in there!

I've waited around ten years for a housemate to tell the crowd that. Laura should win for that alone.

I think the housemates put far too much weight on the opinions of the crowd outside, and realise that they're often not representative of the voters. Laura was completely right, it is horrible the way they jeer. A mob mentality clearly kicks in, and because others are doing it, more people feel fine with doing it also.

Eviction crowd doesn't describe them, a baying mob is more accurate.

I think Laura's behaviour with Marco was far more hideous than the pantomime crowd on eviction night.

The crowd has been getting worse over the years and she is right, they aren't very nice but in her case, they are right. Of course you will judged when you slept with someone on telly that you'd only known a few days.

She slept with someone, so that makes her a horrible person...ok I think I need to go back to the 17th century

Don't be ridiculous!

The point is she slept with someone she barely knew which has turned around and bitten her on the backside because look what he's doing now, he clearly has no respect for her whatsoever (which makes him worse) and not only that but she did it for the cameras. All that looking up at the cameras as she asked for a massage and said in a sexy tone 'it's so hard but so good.' And now she's admitted to fancying Jason, dear Gods!

Laura actually did say that later when discussing it with Evelyn. She said that the crowd outside may not reflect the views of the majority public.

I did love it when she told the booing public what for in the diary room. Good for her

i agree with a poster above - why does Emma have to stand outside when she saves people and evicts them? They don't have to hear the boos/cheers. It affects happenings in the house too much when they hear it. It's not fair since the general opinions of the viewers are sometimes completely different.

Don't be ridiculous! (to coin a phrase)

That was nothing to do with cameras and all to do with lust. She's young and single and believed him when he said he was available. Times change. It is no longer morally reprehensible to have one night stands, or sex for the sake of sex. It never was for men and I don't see why it should be any different for women.

Maybe it's not what people want to see in the house but it doesn't seem to have done Hughie's popularity any harm!

Her main mistake was in trusting Marco when he said he was in an open relationship.

As for the Jason comment, I don't see the issue. She's just saying he looked attractive not that she was going to go there! Which I take as a positive sign as I don't like it when my favourites dislike each other.

She can slate the crowd all she wants and rightfully so but she shouldn't be slagging off the public as a whole. She's on dangerous ground there and will be making more people hate her.

I personally still blame her for the thing with Marco. It was revolting imo. Have come to like her more recently though.

I think Laura got caught up in the whole experience from the first night - inhibitions went flying out the window and she was carried away with Marco and his behaviour. Luckily he was the first to go, and she has certainly seen the error of her ways, regretting how she behaved as she realised it had not shown her in a good light.
IMO she has been a fun HM since then, throwing herself into tasks and generally being full of fun. Sad that she has turned on Jason though - I wonder who or what planted that seed of distrust?
As for that miserable mob outside on eviction nights - what a disgrace. Are they prompted to scream and shout as they do - often while Emma is trying to talk!
